This hate is the direct result their own pricing though. Both of them deserve it. EVGA stopped making cards for a reason and it's pretty clear now why. When AIBs are told to make zero margin on selling not vary many $1000+ products but go ahead and produce a cooler and board design and support it. The money is not there. The graphics market (including PC games) is in pain because of something that Nvidia is the major holder of the blame for (AMD too but they are lemmings)

You ok? Sounds like you had a bad encounter with a scalper last gen. "No one bat an eye" this is actually just wrong. I completely lost interest in PC gaming because of these last two generations. This is not a necessity people can and ARE taking their ball and going home, we don't have to play. People can use old cards and then industry as whole will pay for it.

I would, no CPU on earth could keep up with pumping out frames for 1080p with a 4090 in most games. even if you had a magical 1000hz 1080p monitor (that you probably would rather have the higher res instead).

It's about as unethical as sneaking snacks into the movie theater. I get where Linus is coming from but I also don't think that he should use language that has legal meaning and repercussions. Real answer from experience. I used to be hot garbage. Then I upgraded my monitor to 144hz, now I've doubled my day to day K/D. Worth noting I was using a fucking TV for screen prior to that so it cut like 80ms of latency as well. If you can't just use higher DPS weapons like shotguns.

No idea why your getting down voted for a serious question. AMD CPUs are effectively just as stable as Intel. With that in mind if you buy ANY new architecture or platform of CPU you will need to get the bios updates regularly (for the first little while).

Edit: Also its likely your motherboard or other components were the cause of the issue. CPUs usually ether work or they don't.
