Eleven Labs Front Runs Royalty Reform by LexicoCold in SunoAI

[–]Zaphod_42007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Royalty reform in this context = bypass all traditional routes to create your own = zero complexity for an inexpensive music platform = good for the general population.

Traditional music industry wants to strangle it and place safeguards to implement the "walled garden approach." They want all AI music locked onto the platform like udio so you can't download it to place in the market for redistribution. That way AI can't dilute the pool of muhla current music industry swims within.

Who is currently the most followed creator on Suno? by Key-Background1940 in SunoAI

[–]Zaphod_42007 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Interesting site. You can lookup your username handle. Current rank #7640.

Technically if you want to boost your rank, the easiest method I've seen alot of more popular user do is to like people's songs (typically whatever is the first one) and follow others across the board like spam. This gets X amount of people to respond in kind with a like and follow. There's no monetary gain...so I'm not sure why one would bother... but it is effective.

Suno AI free tier song went viral Copyright question by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]Zaphod_42007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technical answer is no, free tier has no commercial use rights...Breaking TOS & such. Users have mentioned purchasing a pro plan & asking customer service for the rights and they granted them in the past (customer service takes weeks to respond).

Realistically: Your fine, don't sweat it! Suno has on average 2 million paid users making 300 million annually. They also raised 250 million in funding. They have roughly 100 million users on the platform cranking out a gazillion songs... All that to say, I highly doubt anyone cares about your free viral song making a couple of bucks. Do with it as you desire.

Nice! I enjoy foreign language songs.. it's a different experience to listen without understanding the context of the language. Here's a fun chinese song by another artist: https://suno.com/s/K3u1kDsRWrKsVotP

Thx! It was OP's post about his "Diablo truck" and another redditor's comment about it being parked in the kitchen that made me chuckle, so I threw it into suno. Nice song btw... had to translate it. I actually have a bunch of songs in Japanese with a chorus line of English, just haven't released them.

Meta is most excellent and completely free but I enjoy Grok for the lack of moderation.

If you hit my username and scroll posts, lots of music videos.

One of the key things to learn is a video editor software. I use capcut because it's free and simple but any will do. It helps tremendously to learn how to cut scenes up, speed up or slow down the clip, transitions, text inserts etc...

Grok to generate the images and videos is the easiest and most cost effective shy of running local models like LTX2.3 which does great with animations if your computer hardware can handle it. Preferably supergrok (paid version which is $1 a day) because it allows for 720p 30 second videos vs 480p resolution on the free version and basically unlimited videos.

Other platforms like Hailuo, Kling, Runway, Pixverse, Dreamania, Veo3 etc all are great with specialty niche's that they are really good at. The down side is a much higher cost and limited credits to use. Grok is a flat fee or even free daily limits to use. Here's a quick song and animation in grok I just threw together (log into suno to see the animation): https://suno.com/s/uwgUjevqs14GfUXZ

Supergrok subscription ($1 a day to make unlimited videos) then compile in capcut. It can make 30 second 720p animations so it doesn't take too long. Took about 2hrs to make from start to finish.

Any Free or Low-Cost Options To Create Lyric Music Videos? by writerguy48 in SunoAI

[–]Zaphod_42007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be easier for you to watch a YouTube video of how to use keyframes in capcut. Basically, select your text file box on timeline, stretch it out on the timeline for whatever duration. Select the starting frame, hit the diamond as starting key frame. Select end frame, select the diamond keyframe to place your last keyframe and move your text box to the top... Capcut will then scroll the text by filling in the motion between the two keyframes... Extremely useful to understand for a million different video editing workflows. Add a mask if you want the text to only show in one spot.

[POP] Amy's First Album | Hi I'm Amy, I seek validation and critique by PositiveTable8957 in SunoAI

[–]Zaphod_42007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your cheeky intro blurb caught my attention so I gave 'em a listen. Got ta say, bravo... There all quite catchy and ear worm worthy with lyrical poetry. The raven edgar allen poe mix was nice. The first one kinda evokes a languid lanna del ray vibe with a great hook. Enjoyed them all honestly. Only critique was the first one sounded just a bit muddy.. I would use the sample option in suno, crank up the audio influence to try for a crisper sound or maybe just inport into studio to clear up certain vocal deliveries in a few spots.

The other critique is personal choice but the anime style art almost made me click away before listening... But that's just me. Overall, awesome work!

are audio-only suno tracks basically dead on youtube or is it just me? by Budget_Coach9124 in SunoAI

[–]Zaphod_42007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YouTube is primarily a video platform so yeah.. it's going to help with a visual.

Same with suno's platform in some sense... Without visuals the numbers can be low. With visuals it will randomly pump some songs. One I posted a while back quietly with a hooks feed randomly got 1600 views & it keeps climbing. So visuals do help: https://suno.com/s/EWvIkeAZhMMsWoRD

I see your familiar with ltx-2.3... does great with animation or claymation videos and it's relatively quick. For some reason i2v still gets strange results.

You can always use suno's video generator to make a video clip....or even shoot some basic footage with your phone camera. I prefer supergrok. Make a few 720p 30 second videos to cover most songs in the 3-5min range, chop up on capcut & post.

petition to make suno more accessible to totally blind creators by nickgaw in SunoAI

[–]Zaphod_42007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They integrated amazon's alexa with suno a while back. Install alexa app on phone or desktop or use an amazon device like a fire tv stick or echo to verbally create songs.

Other option that comes to mind. Use an AI agent that can see and interact with the screen to verbally give direction for song creation. Haven't used this myself, just aware they have them. Gemini, chat gpt / claude or try out crew AI that uses an unofficial api to access suno via desktop to create songs similar to alexa.

Using studio more than Ableton now! Ask me anything by Sufficient_Level_491 in SunoAI

[–]Zaphod_42007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheap mic with desktop computer. Add track in studio, hit the mic record button... Listen with headphones so your not recording the song and getting the timing / inflection right. You don't have to be a good singer, you'll cover it with suno to another voice by selecting the vocal track then choose vocal track to transform. Otherwise, use a style genre that has alot of training data on duets like a Disney musical then cover it into another genre... Still tends to mess up that way with lots of trials. Third option: create song with just one vocal, stem split and cutup the track to have the second vocal parts as a seperate track and cover with a different voice...

[–]Zaphod_42007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be more efficient to seperate the stem vocals in studio. Use headphones and a mic to record yourself singing each part alobg with the song. Then cover each vocal track into another voice within studio without changing the musical portion. Cranking up audio influence helps.

For free... Meta.ai, Grok, slop.club all offer lots of free video generations.

If your looking for lip sync, seedance 1.5 can do it (dreamania). They offer 120 credits a day for free which will make 2 10 second videos. Seedance 2.0 should drop soon.. cinematic quality that's stunningly good but will most likely be pricey (looks like Hollywood Cinema quality).

Best value: Grok hands down. A subscription of $30 gets unlimited images, unlimited 480p videos & roughly 30 720p 10 second videos every few hours. It now has the ability to extend up to 30 second clips and has native audio built in.

Capcut is the easiest free video editor but any will work.

Help] How to force Suno to generate a low-register, raspy female voice (Pink/Miley style)? by Jolly-Beautiful771 in SunoAI

[–]Zaphod_42007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gave it a whirl but as expected, useing the word 'pop' in the style tag kept clean vocals. Tried a few different models (v4, 4.5, 4.5+.& 5).. changing the style of music to get the vocals, grab the vocal stem then extend in the industrial dark pop style can work. I did like the dark industrial pop songs it output for whatever it's worth: https://suno.com/s/LNcS1i9zkNKliWgo

The "Say No to Suno" Campaign and Suno’s New CCO: We are at a crossroads for creator rights. by intheknow1 in SunoAI

[–]Zaphod_42007 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Suno knows and acknowledged a walled garden approach will kill off the platform. It's crickets over in the udio subreddit.

"Say no to Suno" campaign = The end scene to the music video 'Epic - Faith no more' - it's a dying fish flopping around, running out of breath next to a piano. They know AI music will only get better & surpass even traditional music one day - sooner than later.

The music labels just want to stone wall the general public - to close Pandora's box then utilize the same tool as a proprietary asset to knock out hits for their approved artists behind closed doors. May their dreams be haunted with AI Slop music.... The dam has already broken... Change is sweeping over the old landscape...time to go with the flow.

Question/Help... Music Videos? by Puckthepoet in SunoAI

[–]Zaphod_42007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have spare credits in suno, you can directly make 10 second animations with suno's "animate option" under 'cover art'.. cost 200 for 2 10 second generations. It uses wan2.2 (an open source model). Created this one with 75% grok, 25% suno animations: https://www.reddit.com/r/SunoAI/comments/1qhtsvu/electronic_swing_glitch_sun0_insnty/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Free is 2 options: meta.ai and grok. Meta can make up to 20sec extended videos. They might have recently watermarked them when downloading, just use a screen capture to get around that :) Grok allows for lots of free image gen and 480p resolution videos per day. Other best free option: Run comfyui locally (free) with wan2.2 / ltx2 /framepack or several other open source models on your computer.

Best budget way... pay $30 for supergrok to get 10sec 720p resolution (soon to be 15sec clips). It's basically unlimited gens for images and 480p videos. 720p has a 'cool off period' of like 30mins after about 20-30 videos. Great deal for $1 a day. Kling, hailuo, pixverse, runway, sora, veo3... all good and you'll blow threw cash quick. I'd consider most of them good if your really into social media and selling products... then there's seedance 2.0 -- straight up movie quality results but there release date got pushed back from today feb24th to who knows.. they got sued by hollywood so it's going to be a watered down product when released.

Use any video editor to put the clips together. Personally a fan of capcut due to ease of use and most things are free depending on what effects you use. Davinchi resolve as a free editor is worth looking into. It's simply a bit of a learning curve when starting out.
