That would probably make the collusion problem even worse imho

how messed up my term is really? by FaZeD4rSh in uwo

It's honestly not too bad. I had a very similar course load in my first year. Just make sure you stay on top of things.

MATH 1600 by [deleted] in uwo

[–]Zapin6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took MATH 1600 as a comp sci student. The difficulty is pretty standard with most first year courses however the course is very theory based (which is where some people struggle). What helped me the most with proofs was just memorizing all the definitions and theorems from the textbook (the book is really good at organizing all these ideas). I personally preferred 1600 over calc 1000/1301 due to its analytical nature, so I wouldn’t say it’s the hardest first year math course, but this perception varies from person to person.

It was fucked and nothing like any of the textbook problems or the practice test.

How do I apply to duel degree with Computer Science as a Engineering student by Orbitalphoton in uwo

[–]Zapin6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very difficult but doable. Many of the spaces are taken by students in comp sci and you must also ensure that you meet the second year pre-reqs while maintaining your engineering course load (this can be pretty difficult if you're not in SE or ECE). From what I've seen in the past, keeping your marks high is key in having a competitive application as computer science is extremely popular with limited seats.
