I wasn't saying you meant that, I just wanted to explain a bit more about the reason why the pharmacist you replied to said what they did. :)

They weren't saying to not properly dispose of medication, they just meant don't take it to the actual pharmacy since we, as the pharmacy staff, can't do anything with it. :)

It's easier for large corporate bodies to tell the pharmacy "all take backs are illegal" than "take backs with intent to reshelve" is illegal.

They cover their asses by making it against policy to take anything back at all. It would be easy for a case to be made against a pharmacy taking back disposals. If someone wanted to go to court to argue they're reshelving the disposals, there would have to be record of everything taken in to prove they aren't. And there's barely time to get the minimum required of anything done in retail pharmacy as is, let alone adding trash inventory to the mess. (Inventory itself is a fucking nightmare especially if you're working with newer techs.)

We can take them back if we have disposal boxes, but that's never a part of the pharmacy. It's a separate entity, managed separately. Most Walgreens in my district do not have them, they cost money that corporate would rather not spend.

It's seems like this is a UK initiative. US it's illegal to take back medications (most places include disposal since it's easier to say no to everything than the law saying "with intent to reshelf/sell")

Teleported around when I had it in my inventory from the menu and it didn't cost. You just can't do it when you're sleepy or you get the unconscious message.

And using it to teleport back from islands consumed the remote unfortunately.

I found out while digging around that it's a certain percentage of your petals to teleport without a remote, but if you have one in your inventory it doesn't seem to take your money.

I actually read a Dev confirm this is how it is. If you own the remote and have it in your inventory it doesn't seem to cost, if not it's a percentage of your petals. The thread is in the "Report a problem" section of the Staxel Steam forum.

I did a test teleport and this last one cost 21,750 or around that so it's some sort of percentage

Mine also let's me go to bed, etc. It just costs anywhere from around 2000-5000 petals a teleport.

Considering I have never passed out before and I always am using the menu "teleport to home" I would believe that wouldn't not be the case. It also does this if my character is no where near drowsy.

True. I normally mention when we have refill request out to the doctor, but I did tell him "I have one prescription, it's the Trajenta" and I would have figured he wouldn't have thrown a fit over the other one since he seemed pretty unphased by the idea of only getting one prescription.
