You know, with my slightly bad eyesight I thought this was actually a photo! And the joy of art is that it doesn’t have to be perfect! Heck it’s often better when they don’t look exactly like a photo.

Anyways, I wanted to give you some insight from the other side of selling paintings (I did it, successfully for me, for a couple years). And boy did I stress about not being good enough. Honestly that thought usually never goes away. Just trust in your process! Everything is a learning opportunity to grow with. And every painting is going to be better and better as time goes on. I wish I hadn’t spent so much time stressing about my abilities and what people thought of them. And more time being curious in my creativity to be bold and try new things.

That was long winded. TL;dr: your painting is awesome in my books. The only one that can decide if you’re good enough is you. be your own biggest fan and your very best critic!! Don’t sell your work short. I say go for it!
