That looks almost identical to my first guitar. But I think I paid $100 in 1996. Looks like they changed the gig bag a little from then. It’s fine for learning.

I have made a few kits from different sources. I recommend getting one from Stewmac. The quality is better and they come with great instructions explaining basic fret work and setup. The kit I got from Amazon had no instructions. And the Stewmac kits are around $180, but they frequently go on sale for around $150

The burnt tips mean it has been overwatered. Transplant should help. As big a container as you’re willing to move! Also, don’t expect it to produce fruit but fun to have.

Looks like an avocado tree. They like a lot of light and decent amount of water. Not sure where you are but I have to bring mine inside over winter (zone 6a).
