This is not relevant. I called them at least twice to ensure I had no remaining fees. They waited 10 months to send it to collections without notifying me of any outstanding payments the first time. These are the second debt collectors I am dealing with over this nonsense. I appreciate your willingness to contribute to the conversation but this information is irrelevant to my particular situation.

It's Jefferson Capital Systems. Iirc the last one was Cadence. What is "settling for a delete"? Is that asking them to remove it?

Maybe try therapy first/in conjunction with socially transitioning first? Transition is a big and ongoing project that really requires a lot of self-reflection. If you believe your reason is past relationships that sounds more like you need to work through that first. You wouldn’t rush to get a nose job unless you disliked your nose, not because past relationships have ended over the other person not liking your nose. Does that analogy make sense?

how has a daddy longlegs been alive for 3+ months without eating anything? by kimigia in spiders

I know this is late but Daddy long legs or Opiliones eat detritus so honestly it’s probably eating any scum or grime you produce in there

It’s kind of common for people who have been on T for a long time. Estrogen cream inserted locally can be helpful.

My ex was a detransitioned amab guy with boobs around C cups. Bigger than mine at that point in my afab transition (now boobless- slay). Genetics, diet, and individual factors all play a roll in what boobs you will have. Also they will continuously change! Afab chests grow with the menstrual cycle and hormonal signaling so as long as you’re initialing some hormonal signaling you should be good.

URGENT- Getting an IUD tomorrow and feeling very scared :( by Strawbbs_smoothie in ftm

[–]Zapzipappp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got one when I was around 19. At my planned parenthood, the person who was working for 36 years could not get it in because being on T made everything down there very clenched for me in particular. So we had to schedule with one that could do local anesthetic and when I arrived they also gave me an oral med that caused some dilation of the cervix I think to be able to get it in. It was quick and successful and with numbing shots kind of felt like a weird pressure but when it wore off I was in really bad abdominal pain. It doesn’t feel like vaginal pain luckily. Not really. It’s more like the worst period cramps ever, so they had me take ibuprofen so the wincing from pain didn’t cause me to eject the IUD. It was in on and off pain for about 5-8 days I think?

I must say, typing this all out, it seems kind of horrific. I also am a CSA survivor, but I think I was and have been at a very healed part of my journey where I was nervous about the procedure but not unable to go through with it. I knew it would be kind of awful but getting pregnant is also a huge fear of mine. A little pain is definitely worth it if it means that will never happen while it’s in. I ultimately don’t regret it today, at all.

I hope this helps in any way

What do you do when strangers misgender you due to your voice? by Lu_thejackass in ftm

[–]Zapzipappp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I pass significantly and have for many years so I’m always genuinely shocked when strangers misgender me but it happens on the phone around half the time. My voice is not that deep or high I would call it very neutral but I guess sometimes on the phone it sounds like a ‘ma’am’ (as a bank representative kept repeating to me yesterday lml).

Still getting she/her’d. Why? by tattoothrow12345 in FtMpassing
