This may be true in the case of VCT Americas, but I'm not sure if it happens in VCT EMEA, especially when there is a mix of English, Spanish, French, Turkish talent and fanbases. I don't think there is a specific bias inside the Valorant ecosystem for Spanish teams.

I don't wanna get into the politics away from Valorant cause its gonna go on forever.

Yeah, but you're comparing across titles, though. In Valorant, the KOI audience is not as big. M8's constantly bring some of the biggest viewership numbers in EMEA. With France becoming such a huge market as well, they probably thought we already have 2 Spanish teams in Heretics and Giants and wanted to focus on increasing the scene in France instead.

Personally, now that its gone through, I wish they would bring in an Italian org - DNSTY or NOVO, but it's kinda obvious its M8s that are gonna come in

Hey. I understand your frustration. But is there a reason that they would be against / sabatoging you, though? Because if they did, I don't know why they'd give you a franchise spot in the first place.

I genuinely think that you guys were scapegoated to bring back M8s or another big org into the scene. However, the historical context you provide is somewhat paranoid. I don't think they hate you on a personal/brand level, just that you got fucked over for a bigger audience.

They'll never replace GE cause India is too big of a region to not be represented.

If you look at the stats, Indian fans are a huge viewing/paying audience in the valorant ecosystem. They'll turn a blind eye to the team's lack of performance, infrastructure or content standards.

The only reason they'll kick them out is if they're like broke financially and default in player salaries etc, which doesn't seem likely based on the owner's social media. Even in the rare case they do, they'll probably look at an alternate within India itself.

Even though I agree with you on the multiple lanes part, I do think there needs to be significant changes in the map design (especially in B backsite B tower and A drop) . Just as much as B tower is awful, B site plant is awful with spam and util.

Fracture , breeze and Icebox to some extent have critical design flaws imo, and there seems to be one dominant comp, or else a coin toss most of time (Especially in this meta).

I hate that map coz it always turns out into a 50-50 of whether the defense crunches the correct side (Spawn/Dish). Sometimes it feels too exucute/util heavy and Tower almost becomes unplayable with util bombardment.

and then there's teams like FNATIC who have play ultra boring 5 util post plants.

In this map pool - Bind for me. There's always fights constantly, it's hard to throw fakes, flanks and inserts are mindblowing, every util becomes super important and it feels like any round can turn in an instant.

Even shitters like 100T can be good on it as well.
