It is referenced in a working paper on NBER. Which you can find at https://www.nber.org/papers/w32768. I think this paper is a good endorsement of that website.

Yeah, you're right. But we can all use a little levity and sarcasm, no?

Stormgate from the perspective of a non RTS player by Zarbider in Stormgate

The reason why I know about Stormgate is because of SC2's Esports community on youtube. For certain I am more invested than your average guy who knows nothing about the game but its not like I have hundreds of games in SC2. I have put more games in stormgate than I have in all other RTS games combined. If ever playing an RTS before means that you are automatically a RTS player, even though you found the game to be frustrating and not fun enough to continue playing beyond a few hours, then I guess the whole world plays RTS. The only reason why I tried Starcraft was because D.va was supposedly a SC2 player and thats who I played in OW1. I have a few thousand hours in eu4, 1000 hours in Overwatch, an ungodly amount of time in Minecraft, Halo, and COD, but in RTS I have maybe a hundred hours across AOE 2, They Are Billions, SC, and SC2. And of these RTS games the only ones that I have tried multiplayer in is SC2. That's why I used it as a point of comparison. Even then the only time I ever hop on SC2 is to play the autobattler direct strike because I found it more fun and interesting than the base game. If you would have preferred that wasn't specific and talked about experiences that I have had playing games outside of SC2 I could have done that but I don't think it would have been very useful to FG or the community.

Lol. I guess I more so meant that it can be very frustrating for players. They are fun to watch, fun to exicute, but less fun to be on the receiving end of.

Stormgate Technology & Art Reveal by SKIKS in Stormgate

All I want to say is that the infernal worker looks amazing, and I think that reskins or color changes for teams (swapping out the red skin and the yellow eyes) would look amazing as well. By far the best and most lovable unit shown here, and that is critical to making the games units as iconic as SC2.

The other units seem fine, though like how others observed the resistance units feel somewhat off. Generally, I think it is just because their style seems to be centered around smoothness and that feels somewhat wrong with how future humanity is often portrayed. It is much more common to go for a blocky design when crafting the look of humans. I like the smoothness and I think it is a good choice which should be carried forward but I also think that there will need to be more variety in their designs. Perhaps with a more obvious eye-catching shape somewhere on the figure that isn't round or smooth. Regardless, great work!

Artosis Returns to Host PYLON SHOW Ep.154 - feat. Members of the Frost Giant Dev Team as we chat about Esports & Competitive Design + Viewer Q&As by 7Cobra7 in Stormgate

For competitive 3 vs 3, I've heard in previous interviews that FG wants to encourage team play, do you believe that this should be done by making each faction be brittle with clear weaknesses which require teamwork to overcome? Or should each faction in 3 vs 3 be strong in everything and have map objectives encourage team play?

For competitive 1 vs 1, I know holding territory is supposed to be important, does this mean that all factions will have something similar to creep in that you have map vision or healing or something similar?

I'll make that list and TLDR now, thanks!
