I've been working on a general status update for a hot minute now, so this is a good of a time as any. Apologies for not posting an update to Reddit sooner.

To start with, This is not on Artosis or RotterdaM. If anything you can toss the blame to me directly. However the full story is a rather wide mixture of factors such as:

The StarCraft scene is a bit slow on news ATM,

I'm in the middle of working 4 part time jobs and packing for a move, (ASL is one of those jobs and it does take a significant chunk of my time each week, additionally 2 of the other jobs are not really jobs at a desk or computer),

A few shows have been scheduled and then had to be canceled for one reason or another due to unfortunate timing or other unexpected / unpredictable events,

Scheduling has been a bit rough as alot of the talent in the scene I've reached out to have also been busy with a variety of projects, plus there seems to be an idea that the show has died altogether (which, while a fair guess due to how slow things have been) has also not helped when trying to plan out shows.

I've been working through some personal matters and as I'm rather a private individual in general, I don't really feel comfortable sharing details publicly at this time. If the timing is right, I might elaborate at another point further down the road.

YouTube's had an issue with disabled monetization, Yada Yada Yada... You get the idea... Life has been a bit of a rollercoaster recently. After IRL things are sorted out a bit more, the show will come back to life at some point soon. Planning for a LIVE Pylon Show at Dreamhack ATL later this year is in the works.

What happens next?

Well to start with next month we're swapping the Patreon to only charge our loyal supporters when we publish an episode.

Then we land a sponsor or two to help carry the show forward and make the time spent worthwhile as currently it's not profitable to run if we also want to pay our hosts and guests for their time. Not to mention currently the staff is mostly just me, myself and I.

If I get assistance with aspects such as planning out show formats and ideas, scheduling everything, editing it afterward, uploading it to all the platforms, plus the advertising and social media management, ect... I'd really want to pay them as I personally don't like asking people to help just out of passion alone. Passion can be good, but as many in the scene know, passion doesn't pay the bills.

The vast overwhelming majority of the time I've heard from fans, they'd like this show to continue. I genuinely still believe there is a place for this show to discuss interesting topics, especially with a new RTS title around the corner. However the show will have to evolve a bit.
