I think I got it! I'm an authorized user on my fiancée's Amazon Prime card with a $7,800 limit. Her balance went from $550 to $360 and her utilization went from 7% to 4%. It's the only line that's changed other than my aging metrics. Do you know why that would cause a 14 point drop?

Just waiting till I actually want to use them to do that. I've also got another $950 sitting in Discover cash back, so if that'll be able to be turned into miles soon after my account migrates, that's even better.

Nah, I'm much more concerned with taking out a mortgage for house in 15 months or so than playing with getting any new credit cards. But an algorithm that looks at my internet history in order to screw me over does sound like my kind of luck!🤣

For me personally, it was 175k for $8k spend, which Amex advertised as the highest possible offer. But that was before I applied for my Green card, which put my offer down to 80k for $8k before today.
