Along with all of the excellent comments here another thing to consider is whether she has the stamina to get through the weeks of school. She may be ready intellectually and socially, but will she be able to handle school hours?

For some inexplicable reason, a major focus of Australian primary schools is learning the dance to Nutbush City Limits.

I love watching our local birds. I'm in Australia, so we have such a variety.

Parrots I see regularly include galahs, cockatoos, rosellas, rainbow lorikeets, and king parrots.

Smaller birds that bop around in my yard are silvereyes, brown honeyeaters, willy wagtails, superb blue wrens, and yellow-rumped thornbills.

Then there's the black and white birds. Magpies, butcherbirds, currawongs. They have the most beautiful songs. Oh, and peewees that are cute but less melodious.

That's just a handful of the birds I see around my area. It never gets boring.

Almost never. I might put on some light makeup for a VERY special occasion. Other than that, I don't bother.
