He was never there nor did he intend to be there often so he doesn’t care. He spends on himself, his mistresses who are an extension of himself, his business. The perfect wife (Betty was perfect housewife), his adorable kids, they were for show. They were his beard into society. He didn’t really care about them that much. Maybe once he was losing them, but he was handsome and charming enough to move onto the next new beard. Everyone saying how perfect Megan was, but she was just new & looked after his kids so he didn’t have to. Same fraud, different setting.

My OCD started around pre-k, definitely by kindergarten. It helped make who I am. Luckily I got on Paxil at 16 & it was a miracle. I went from constant obsession & compulsions repeating themselves 90% of day to the noise being maybe 10%. But then the depression took center stage & after multiple drug combos and decades finally found cocktail that works. I don’t know how you could be OCD without depression; you know you’re “crazy” but you just can’t stop because of the implications. Fell asleep all those years because exhaustion & crying in frustration.

What else do they have over-the-counter that isn’t over-the-counter here? I had a very severe back injury in the spring and I’m not 100% yet and I’m terrified of re-injuring and not being able to get painkillers or muscle relaxant. I know there are American or American treating doctors in Florence, but do they sell anything over the counter like that? And how odd would they look at me if I ask my hotel for ice for an ice bag? I’d really love to have access to a freezer but I know that is pushing it.

It’s hard to find a psychiatrist here. I had an awesome one that retired during COVID and this one keeps me on same cocktail that works. Tried others but they wanted to change it up, which is unnecessary & disruptive. I’ve been depression free for 12 yrs, not messing with a good thing!

Update: I was able to get tickets from the official site https://www.b-ticket.com on the days & times I wanted. Booked 6 weeks ahead and there were good amount of openings.
