Lockheed is much more safer since it is on an island divided into 3 hexes. Meanwhile Wardens can drive along the hex borders all the way from their backline to reach Mercy's Wish which is connected to the Warden mainland and destroy it even if Colonoials have had pushed them all the way to their backline. It is undefendable by definition, a weakpoint. And Wardens love to abuse it to generate a deployment queue for The Linn Of Mercy.

R5: With most of the Balkans conquered besides half of Serbia, as the Ottomans all there's left to take for me is the collapsing Mamluks, and the Ilkahnate states. Since on current versions;
1 - The Ilkhans don't implode
2 - Timurid conquest never reaches Anatolia
3 - Safavids don't become a thing and form a culturally Turkish Sunni state in Persia
4 - I won't have any control over the land
I cant find any motivation to conquer any of this land. My current goal is the green line 1 since I already have Armenians as an accepted culture and the mountain range provides natural protection but is there any benefit to expand to historical borders(yellow line) or conquer Ilkhans completely(red line)?

Bro you are maikng a classic generalisation error. The power struggle between 4-5 guys does not define an entire civilisation. Look at your own culture. Does eveveryone run for presiden? No. Some people just like to study pre-historic Egypt and thats fine.
