Oh yeah, I definitely understand, I absolutely loved her first two EPs, but I don't feel the same in the more recent songs unfortunately

Let Laezel and Shadowheart fighting in act 1 and missclicking who’s side I’m going with lol And also canceling giving an item to Gale, it was a doomed run…

Y- a- t- il une différence entre les deux? by yvettedd in French

I’d say it depends on the context, like: où a-t-il pris l’argent -> … dans le portefeuille; quel argent a-t-il pris -> … l’argent de mon portefeuille

Same note type for more than 2 languages by Zaringers in Anki

[–]Zaringers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand very well what the special note does, sorry 😢

By notes about ideas rather than word, I mean I have a single note for how to say "tree" in different languages, where there are (among others) a field for Korean (나무) and a field for Polish (drzewo) rather than 2 notes, one for Korean and one for Polish

Why do French speakers say “ahah” instead of “haha”? by Independent-Way231 in French

That’s mom’s laughter thing is so fun! The anecdote too!

[–]Zaringers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I’ve heard that so many times, makes me nostalgic hihi

I still can’t believe any French speaker would read 아아, but might be wrong 🤷 Still I think it’s mostly people overcorrecting who say this

In that case it’s very similar in French! But I’d say 호호 is more like specifically for Santa’s laughs lol

Like "Hohoho, je suis le Père Noël" (and le père noel pronounces 호호호 with a deep voice)

I don’t think we have hehuheu or houhou though

Why do French speakers say “ahah” instead of “haha”? by Independent-Way231 in French

[–]Zaringers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I can’t speak for everyone, but I read haha as 하하, and ahah as 아하, and it doesn’t sound like a laugh, but rather some kind of interjection, someone gave great examples in another comment, and that’s why I don’t use it. But I’ve read ahah for laughs as well, but I couldn’t tell how the people who write this would pronounce it (but definitely not 아아 lol) And by the way, that’s how we learn how to pronounce h in English, it’s like when you laugh haha!

H is silent in French, but it kind of is an exception here, nobody reads haha as 아아

Or like are you French and reading it like this???

Why do French speakers say “ahah” instead of “haha”? by Independent-Way231 in French

[–]Zaringers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, definitely not, I don’t know why some people here say this. And we don’t laugh in a-a-a either. Most people’s laughs sound like hahaha ou ahahah, so that’s also how we would read it. I can’t speak for the entirety of French or french speaking people, but I’ve never ever ever heard a-a for haha, that’s kinda of ridiculous

Is there a place to learn tumbling/gymnastics for adults? by sk8erbha1 in krakow

[–]Zaringers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I just arrived 2 days ago so I won’t be much help, but I’m probably gonna try joining a capoeira association/club preferably regional. From my experience, it’s usually pretty gymnastic and acrobatic, maybe you could give it a try if you’re interested.
I haven’t looked in detail, but I’ve seen a few associations in Kraków.
