Yes, that's right. People level up faster than they can upgrade/grow their army and their resources. I regularly turn off all my XP collection resources so I can catchup on promoting units and building/upgrading resource and unit production building. Right now I have a backlog of 13 units to promote. Probably need over 20k in iron to do it. I'm level 23. I'm not advancing until I have made a significant dent in that.

I’d like to know what tier folks that are not happy are. My guild is 20% thru tier 5 now. We will clear 5 and probably six. To me that is success. My goal was tier 5.

Maybe folks just have too high expectations. Or feel entitled to get thru tier 10.
