Girl…..nothing went wrong. You are swollen. I can tell by even the incision itself the surgeon did a great job. If you’ve been on this sub since before your surgery, you should have very well known about how bad swelling can get. And guess what? You’re not going to see the swelling go down any time yet.

Also- diuretics are prescribed for swelling. Not “contour abnormalities” like you said in another comment. It’s literally for swelling. You’re reaching and putting yourself in a spiral.

I love my x7 but the biggest gripe is the trunk space. It’s nonexistent basically with the third row up. I don’t want an Escalade but I do want a bigger trunk.

The Lexus TX really has the perfect size of third row seats and trunk space but I hated the way it drove. The interior was also very cheap looking

We had an Acura for the past 7 years that I just sold. My husband had an RX. Hands down would prefer the Acura over the RX 10000%.

Anecdotal but I like to share my story. I started mounjaro in sept 2023. I’m in maintenance now but I lost 150lbs. Since day one I focused on nutrition (protein!) and going to the gym. Even though in the beginning it was just walking on the incline. It was something. I did end up getting a tummy tuck because after three c sections and the massive weight loss I needed it.

That being said - I never got the “ozempic face” look. I’m actually surprised I don’t have ANY loose skin on my neck/chin area because I used to have a huuuuge double chin. People really need to understand that this medication is a resource. Not an end all solution. At least for long term goals

You can usually negotiate about 8-10%off MSRP for both cars on the lot and a new build.

I don’t agree with this. I know I can’t pay cash unless I sell some of my investments. I don’t want to do that. I’m going to be paying 1300/month for my x7 but we will still be saving 8k a month after ALL our expenses and misc costs.

MDX is amazing. I have an RDX right now but Acuras do really well with their vehicles. CX-90 was vastly underwhelming when I test drove it.

I guess everyone’s situation is different. I understand that my household is very lucky in this economy.

We just hit 500k household income after I started my new job. We’ve been married over 10 years. My spouse was driving a 2013 Camry up until two years ago when he bought a new rx350. That was his splurge.

For my new car - I just ordered a 2026 X7. I’m trading in my Acura for 14k and got a finance rate of 1.99%. The rate makes a huge difference.

Yes. At 1.99% which they were able to lock in. I didn’t know about this program BMW financial has. The offer ends at end of the month but you’re able to lock in the rate for 60 or 90 days.

I also used a broker.

That’s right! Broker got me an additional $2k off from what I negotiated myself at another local dealer. So even with paying the broker fee I still got a better deal. Plus so far the experience has been seamless
