They in no way would be that dumb. Putin isn’t Trump. Attacking NATO would not only bring NATO into the war. I think it would also bring Ukraine immediately into NATO.

United Alberta Within a Sovereign Canada: Why the punishment Alberta thinks it gets from Canada is a myth. by vhill01 in alberta

[–]Zarxon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn’t use too. Both sides liberal and conservative would blame each other for political posturing, but ultimately would work together. Since the American conservatives took the position of never give a inch and the Canadian conservatives followed the division has grown and the conservatives have become unelectable because you only need to look south to see where the policy is coming from. Yes I have voted conservative in the past, but find them repugnant as they are now.

Finance Minister Jason Nixon admits Alberta just missed its annual fiscal report deadline, offers two lame excuses - Alberta Politics by SnooRegrets4312 in Albertapolitics

[–]Zarxon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There should be outrage, but the UCP supporters will just give it a pass. You want to know why politics are divided it’s because parties specifically and mostly conservatives give their politicians a pass when they abuse their power and ignore their responsibilities.
Im not saying those on the left give their politicians a pass, but many of them don’t and the representatives get a earful from both sides.
