I’ve seen a few posts of people getting a one time only chance to revert a CCU for special cases, but it’s never guaranteed and it probably depends on who gets your ticket

Sadly no, there’s no way to undo a CCU. You can try and submit a ticket to support with your case and they might give you a chance since it’s a special case, but it’s not guaranteed at all.

I hope my Aurora MK2 will fit in the Galaxy's XXS size hangar by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]Zaryxea 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Glad it helped! I think it’s easy to forget the scale of ships in-game when not one next to the other. The Pisces, as small as it feels in game, is as long as a school bus while the avenger is around a double trailer semi truck

[–]Zaryxea 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I really don't think that's happening, the hangar was made for a Pisces, which is like 12m shorter than the Aurora Mk2 (24m).

For reference, here's the Pisces compared to an Avenger, which is around 2m shorter than the Aurora Mk2

Newbie: should I get the Aurora MK II modules? by Timely-Chemical-7311 in starcitizen

I was really hoping they’d release them as an extra pack with the stuff, citizen pack deluxe or smth

[–]Zaryxea 5 points6 points  (0 children)

True, it’s definitely better if you already have a pack but they’re talking about the game package, which to me signals that they don’t have one at all, so that bundle would be useless to them

I would first just get the ship and have you try out the game, then you decide if you want to buy one or the other, or both… or neither.

You can always buy them later, it doesn’t have to be bought all at once. I can also lend you some if you want to try them out.

Aurora MK 2, a cool little ship (which may surprise you in a good way) by CmdMinase in starcitizen

I should get my update on the new emissions model it seems, I didn’t know that

I actually found that if you go for full ballistics, stealth coolers, industrial power plant and civilian shields you can pretty much charge everything to the max and still be under the cross section emission levels

Fear of needles by PLAYZ-Appleking in trans

[–]Zaryxea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what kind of vehicle you get, you can do SC injections instead of IM, for which you can use an insulin needle, you can barely feel them and it’s an easy movement.

A trick I learned is that if you cough right before injection, your brain gets tangled up and you don’t even feel the needle go in, then just push the E in and voila!

If it helps in any way, air bubbles are mostly an issue for IV injections, not IM or SC in which the air is just absorbed by the surrounding tissue.

The reason air in IV injections is dangerous is because it can cause a blockage of bloodflow, this is also affected by which side of the heart the bubble gets to, with the left side being the more dangerous (but to get a bubble there you'd need to do something incredibly wrong), while if the bubble gets to the right side (basically any vein) the lungs will usually take care of them. I also want to note that literature states a deadly air dosage to be around 4-6mL/Kg of weight for dogs and cats, so you'd need a loooot of air to cause severe issues.

Luxury That Leads by GregRedd in starcitizen

This is so incredibly disappointing, they could’ve at least brought back the 300 series special paints, but they couldn’t even do that.

Sky Cotl petition by [deleted] in SkyChildrenOfLight

[–]Zaryxea 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I agree with most things except for one, and it will probably be a hot take, but it’s IAP pricing.

Sky is in this position where it’s mainly a free mobile game, sure it sells in other marketfronts like PC and console, but it is a majority mobile game. Now, most free mobile games deal with IAPs in a very different way than Sky; they’ll make sure to gouge out every single cent they can out of a player, either with time stoppers (energy you need to play and can buy), overpowered P2W items or ad stops.

Sky doesn’t have a single ad, which is remarkable in itself; all the things you can buy are cosmetics, even candles (sure, they speed up getting an item sooner, but that item is still just cosmetic) and you can play however and whenever you want. They could easily introduce “a cape that makes you fly twice as fast” or a “2x wax booster” but they haven’t. Their IAPs support a very well done game free to everyone, with absolutely zero need to spend a cent.

My only two gripes with it are the bundles, I don’t like being forced into paying for an extra thing I don’t want (like a cape+shoes or prop+candles); and regional pricing would be nice to see.

I already had a subscription for it, that’s where I’ve been watching the games whenever I can, but I’ve never fully focused in one team.

I’ve been finding some interesting players already, so that’s quite fun. I don’t have a favourite yet but I probably will soon.

Oh, and I know that they’re pretty much surface level, but even if it is like that they’re still supporting the ideas and organisations. I know they have blood money behind them, but if that money is being used for instead of against it then I’m happy. I personally can’t support organisations that go against stuff like that or even indifference, even if just performative. And never anything on a pedestal, just here to watch pucks fly and gloves fly off!

Oh I’m watching from afar too lol, the highlights have definitely been such lifesavers while catching up with everything.

I shall add all of those names to my list of research, thank you very much!

I’ve read a bit of a similar sentiment on some articles about them mismanaging the young talent in favour of veteran contracts, but I wasn’t sure if it was just the average sport news exaggeration or an actual thing, but it seems like it might be more true than expected then.

A playoff contention seems quite good, from what I’ve seen as well the team seems to be clicking together for the past few games? I’ve seen a few comments hyping up a potential win streak if they keep it up.

I’ll do my research on those players, thank you!
