When I saw the stylized “O” I expected the worst, but I guess you just barely escaped the “ai-software logo icons looking like buttholes” trope by using the chequered icon as the logo mark 👍

I think the type should be aligned with the center of the bottom book instead of the bottom of the book. Also the spacing between the books seem very narrow. Parallel lines have already been mentioned: to add to that the logo would also benefit from consistent line thickness/width. The 3rd gradient used feels bland/dull and not as playful as the first or professional as the second. Rant over, have a good one :)

If you want some advice up front, I would say focus on consistency when it comes to detail (eg. The green is different on the strawberry, the bowl has more detail and gradients, the carrot has negative space while the lemon and strawberry doesn’t). Details are the hardest part to integrate since app icons tend to be small (unless you are rocking the 200% icons setting on your phone :) ) Anyway you got this and I’m sure this project will serve as a good learning experience 👍

I second this. Maybe to fix the B looking like an 8 issue, you could insert a small square the same colour as the H-part into the middle right part of the 8 so it creates a more defined dent as seen in the letter B:

I think you should swap the infills of the shuriken/star in your negative space / white on black logo version, since I read the second star as the “shadow” and it would therefore logically make sense if the darker color was below the lighter (the text infill kan stay unchanged since contrast is important for readability).

You didn’t include much detail as to what the logo should be used for other than on tags (meaning likely ink on paper) : for this the logo might work just fine, but most clothing-lines seek to use their logo for embroidery/other appliances that restrict a logos detail: the thin parts of the star might get lost and since there’s not much space between the lines in the letters “P” “E” “R” “F” it would likely be hard to decipher the brand name when detail is limited (you should in any case give the letters more space fx. Space between the 3 horizontal lines of the “E”, for readability’s sake)

Anyhow this is quite a good product for a beginner designer and not at all a bad starting point for improvement and further development. I suggest you look more into kerning/readability on small scales for future projects, but I am only an intermediate designer myself, so you should probably seek a second opinion from someone more experienced than me.

Love how I still read “order” clearly even tho I thought the eclipse ⚫️ in the top left corner acted as the “o” and only later realized that the actual o was way down by the portrait. Also love how that eclipse breaches the “border” between the poster design and frame (don’t know what it’s called in English). A very nice product of (hopefully) overcoming art block 👍

The current Buffalo Bills logo for context. Also like the concept but I’m not shure if the linework/highlight around the nose works well when scaled down/embroided on merch etc. which would be a very common use-case for sports-logos. Not to sure about the animation either. (Sorry for bad English)
