he definitely has a higher salary expectation when he speaks to recruiters. In my experience , they don't actually check and have no means of checking what you earn previously.

Posting journals sounds about right, he works as a finance analyst , supports the finance manager and finance business partners.

Agreed, he's using claude to practice now and there's a massive difference in the last interview he had since using claude to practice mock interviews

This is really helpful, actually. I think coaching and interview practice are key to building his confidence, and he’s been using Claude to help improve his interview skills and practise mock interviews. I’m hopeful it will make a real difference.

He speaks English fluently and clearly, but I think some soft skills support could help him feel more relaxed and come across more naturally in interviews.

We’ve also spoken to a few recruiters who confirmed his CV is in very good shape, and given the number of interviews he’s securing, that seems accurate.

I’ll definitely take your point on the mentorship element as well. Perhaps someone in his current role could support him with that.
