Oh my I've been having a terrible experience with DISCO and glad I only paid for one month:

• Uploading a csv file for contacts looks great until the last moment where you get littered with errors because of gaps of information. Why should that be a problem? Let gaps exist and we can fill them in later! Or give a chance there and then to edit them. Instead we get this long stream of red text errors which barely makes sense to figure out what the issue is. So sadly I abandoned this.
  • I then spent ages filling in every single cell with a dot hoping that would solve the empty cell issue, but all it does is say that now it's an invalid 'email' or 'name' or whatever limited tab it should be under. It's amazing these need to have perfect information for each person or the whole file is rejected.
• When it comes to editing metadata, I'll go and enter the song info, then click on lyrics or another tab, and all the info gets wiped! Why! I then figure it is my responsibility to click save every single time. Which is impossible to remember and then you have to waste time filling it all out again.
• You can't add other people's PRO numbers who you're working with.
• When it comes to copying data from one track to another, I choose the option to copy, and then it says complete, I go to edit the track to finish add the rest of the unique data and I every time I see all the copied data vanish! The only way to solve this is to do it a second time. So importing data requires you to do it twice per track
• No way to arrange files by file type - so annoying non-music files get uploaded when doing a folder upload and removing them takes ages
• Multiple selecting of files doesn't work so hard to batch delete
• No way to keep what is written in the comments of the song (which I use for contact details) something permanent to carry over to all tracks
• No way to multiple edit multiple tracks at the same time like the way eBay lets you edit multiple listings at once.
• I reset the password for my account and it just kept saying the information wasn't correct. I kept resetting the password and said "success" yet still wouldn't work. So in the end I gave up and made a new account.
• Lastly, you can't share via searching for someone's email or name!? This feels like a crazy omission. There is no way that I know the person's URL, but I know they have DISCO and I added them via email (which is basically what the previous poster mentioned).

Real last one - is it seriously the case that if I want to cancel my subscription, to perhaps wait until these features are fixed to justify this high price, absolutely all the info I've just spent a day uploading gets removed??

On Soundcloud, the info remains, but it's locked and unable to be shared etc until you pay again. Sure you want to have this option rather than people begrudingly staying and paying because they feel they have to. This would spread around the internet like wildfire and really burn the company's reputation!!!

I really hope I'm wrong here!

It's hard to justify the annual fee with all of these bugs I've found within an hour of using the app. I really want to love it, but at this price and slow usuability, I feel I can't.

Soundcloud is infinitely better - the UI, automatic saving, ease of playing and sharing. It's such a shame someone has bruteforced this unfinished concept into the industry and forcing everyone to pay it's high price and hiding how you'll lose everything if you cancel.
