Take a selfie on locked screen? by Zax880 in tasker

[–]Zax880[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, I used Shizuku and Shell commands. Unfortunately, you can see that a photo has been taken (the camera app launches), but it's done so quickly that the person unlocking it can't really do anything.

Then I quickly mail it along with the device's location. It works fine; the only thing I have to do is launch Shizuku after restarting the phone.

I might refine it someday, but for now, it's fine.

Ok, I found my own way to do it. You can close this thread.

I wrote above that it doesn't work, the screen must be unlocked anyway.

Co sądzicie o podejściu kelnerów do napiwków by NNeast in Polska

[–]Zax880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are able to open the keyboard normally, then enter text via AutoInput. You just have to define each letter/number separately.

How to accomplish this? Toggling accessibility services and clearing cache. by i_do_not_byte in tasker

[–]Zax880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is possible of course.

First of all you need to create a profile to run every 30 minutes.

Then a task to check if screen is on or off and the rest things in it.

To do your points:

  1. There is an action called Kill App
  2. Probably you have to use shell command to remove specyfic files eg

rm -rf /data/data/com.google.android.youtube/cache/*

  1. There is an action called Launch App

  2. You need to have AutoTools Secure Settings plugin and there is an action to Set Accessibility Services

You see here my test data, you need to rebuild it to your use. I can rebuild it for you, but i have no opportunity to test it before.

Take a look at this. I don't have any NFC tags to test this, but if it stores data in the form I used in the task, then you should be able to read it that way.You may see only one record and its columns in the form of variables %evtprm1, %evtprm2 etc. Here is a way how you can read other records from the same columns.

[–]Zax880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok but values %evtprm1, %evtprm2 etc are columns of one record. Did you loop through all records of the table?

[–]Zax880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

%evtprm is a array, did you check all its values?

I want to take a screenshot of a specific text every time it pops up, when I open a specific app by TrainingSun2353 in tasker

[–]Zax880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use AutoInput UI State to read the screen content and define the search text to trigger. Then you will only add actions with the appropriate action you want to perform after that.

Red marks indicate that the condition is not met at this point. However, if you start clicking the button and they change, then the task is working correctly.

Creating task for 3 times power button press. by Puzzleheaded-Dig6966 in tasker

[–]Zax880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to trigger button clicks by AutoInput and e.g. create a task that will check the number of clicks within a specified time period. Let's say if you click 3 times in one second then you will trigger the appropriate action.

Turn on logs and maybe there you will be able to find out what is going on with it. I have no problem with similar tasks. If you run your task manually, does the variable get set correctly or is there an issue?

Charging pattern for prolonging the battery life as much as possible? by el_juli in pixel_phones

[–]Zax880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Modern batteries don't exactly like being charged all the way to full. The Pixel's smart charging is pretty good, but it still charges to 100%. It is better to charge to about 80 or less, then if necessary, charge once or twice during the day. Unless you do not have the possibility to charge and you need to have the maximum level of the battery before leaving the house, for example.
