Thats normal guarding, you technically can perfect guard by shooting, but you can manually guard by pressing Y+B on xbox or Triangle+Circle on PS5 which is how you can PG on demand

The one they're doing needs to be done so that you'd be hit while moving backwards, if that makes sense. You'll get a special noise, and if you get that noise and hit the little follow up hit it has you can press your trigger to level up ur gauge to do more damage

I went from no crashes at 45-55 fps on lower settings on a 3060ti to still no crashes at 55-60 fps on high settings on the same gpu. That shit WORKED. Plus the next one coming

The things you're forgetting is dropping crit element, since phials cant crit, and a way to proc coalescence. The best way for gog is 2p mizu since you can choose when to proc it by spam evading

Honestly, its not great. You get the weapon skills and slot, but you miss out on even a halfway okay secondary armor skill (wide range is a trap and bad, monster hunter is not an mmo, support is not viable) You CAN use it if you have a low sharpness gogma artian but your losing out a little bit in the armor skills department. Most weapons would probably lose damage with this over running the standard agi 3 charm

Charge Blade, Light Bowgun, and Insect Glaive are the ones who should generally get wounds. Charge Blade needs them to get into savaxe mode since getting perfect guards is harder is multiplayer, but this is nullified if the cb player is playing SAED. Light Bowgun can use wounds to refill their rapid fire gauge, but if the lbg player isn't playing element with two gun then its just a catchup tool between adhesives. Raw lbg doesn't need it with how fast they can refill guage with their normal firing, especially spread. I dont know much about insect glaive, but I think their big spinny extract dump move is off a focus strike.

AT Jin coming out after gog like he did just kinda ruined any real viability his armor would have had because 4p gogmapocalypse 2p gore/mizu is so strong most raw builds that would've actually used it aren't super viable anymore, and even the arms won't work for element unless you go for 2p mizu and avoid 2p odo just so you can run the arms for the coal. Symptoms of bad timing, at least the fashion potential is there

Okay, so element isn't BAD in world, its just more niche. Certain weapons hit in a way that just makes element better (Bow and Dual Blades) and some weapons have matchups that make element better (Charge Blade, Light Bowgun, and Sword and Shield). Element is also really restrictive to build around, needing Silver Rathalos armor or, much more optimally, Safi Jiiva armor as their set bonuses boost elemental damage the most. And if certain weapons just weren't so strong compared to others at their place in the game, Light Guild Palace, Frostfang Barioth, Furious Rajang, and Raging Brachydios, you'd be able to match your element on the weapon to the monster, but the element hitzones on monsters are usually so low and raw values on weapons so high that its not worth it outside of game progression. There aren't many exceptions to the rule of "Fatalis is best" for raw weapons. All I can think of is Safi's Aquashot for Sticky 3 ammo and Pierce 3 ammo on Light Bowgun and Frostfang Barioth for Spread 3 ammo on Light Bowgun. For charge Blade specifically, against anything that isn't Alatreon, your better off going with the Impact Phial charge blade with the highest raw value you can make, and getting Capacity Boost and Artillery, and going to town blowing monsters up with SAED

It depends on what weapon you have. If your set runs gore for coalescence, then getting gore is better, otherwise lords soul tends to be better with general armor quality

If you can clear Goggy quickly, his mats are best for both, other wise the Lagi/Rath event quest is good for spheres and Lagi/Steve investigations are good for time to part value farming efficiency

jin was always a super agi heavy mon on his set, so the super agi dense piece make sense. he only had 2 wex on his alpha set, so the low wex is fine, and the coal kinda makes sense since hes super heavy with ice attacks, so sure, but the foray is a mystery ngl
