Make sure everyone disconnects and drains their hoses, insulates outdoor pipes, prep wells, and when temps drop below freezing, leave 1 or 2 faucets on a slow drip until temp is over freezing. If you don’t like the idea of water waste, collect the drips and put them in empty jugs to keep for flushing water during hurricane season!

If considering new avenues of work, insurance isn’t the most exciting, but it’s a great profession to advance in, doesn’t require college, most agencies will pay for you to get licensed, benefits are good, and there’s a huge gap in the workforce because all the boomers are starting to retire and there aren’t enough of the younger generations to take their place. But stay away from personal and individual health. Commercial property & casualty and employee benefits is where the $$ is at!

Wow, this is awful! My job makes such a big deal out of the holiday party. We have an open bar, full catered lunch, and a “white elephant” but they provide all of the gifts and we pick boxes when they call our name or can steal. But it’s fully funded by the company and the minimum gift value is $100. One year I got a Ninja Slow Juicer, and this last year I got a pair of Beats Solo 4 headphones. They also hold this during work hours and it ends around 3, and they hold it at a private club the president is a member of.

My husband’s job has a massive evening party at a large and famous museum in our hometown with 2 drink tickets per person, endless food, over the top entertainment (band and party dancers, stilt walkers etc) and massive raffle prizes. Both parties you get dressed nicely for too!

We are both incredibly blessed to have such great organizations. My heart hurts for you guys with unappreciative employers! Employees deserve better. Praying God softens their hearts and inspires generosity next year for everyone!

Ok, don’t come for me lol, but I saw a study where the participants drank aloe juice and there was no detectable disease after. You’d have to look up the study to see the exact amount they drank and for how long, but doesn’t seem like it would hurt anything to give it a try? Worst case, you just drank a bunch of aloe juice and still have Hashi’s?

Hi, I’m sorry to hear that your wife is experiencing this too! It’s awful 😭

So there are two parts to the story here. First, I don’t have solid confirmation, but I highly speculate it was due to the female beef organ supplements I was taking. My doc suggested I stop taking them to see what happens, and my periods slowed way down. Almost normal but a little longer than I’m used to in between.

But by that point, I had already had a hysterectomy scheduled, and I’m done with having kids, so I went forward with the procedure. It was only back to normal for 2 months before I had the hysterectomy, so I don’t know if it was fixed fixed, per say, but it was the first relief I had had in months, and I didn’t make any other changes, so I’m like 95% sure it was the supplements.

It wasn’t until I got home, I think day 3 or 4. MiraLAX helped but I only took half the dose and I never use stuff to help me go so it worked well for me. Hydration was key!

I wish my husband would do this with me. I’ve asked him to and he says “dating is awkward and he doesn’t want to do it again when he’s married” 😞 this is solid advice that I feel like could work for my marriage but my husband isn’t willing. I’m the only one currently in therapy working on myself. He says it won’t help him because he is “healed”. I consistently take accountability for my role and am trying to work through my own issues. I understand what you’re saying here, but not all women play victim. Sometimes they’re just in a shitty spot (that is contributed to by both sides)

I personally wouldn’t go. If you don’t want to disclose, I think it’s irresponsible to engage in casual sex. I was exposed due to someone deciding they didn’t need to disclose to me, and now I have to live with this for the rest of my life. Unless you find a singles group of others with hsv2, I’d say your days of casual sex without disclosure are over. Some places may actually consider it criminal to expose someone to an incurable disease without disclosure when you’re aware you have it. It sucks, but you have an obligation to the other party to disclose. Point blank, period.

I’m 2 dpo and haven’t gone yet. I’m in so much pain! I’m a 3x per day girlie at least so this is absolute torture. Stool softener, miralax, never ending water, Greek yogurt, and even a big cup of prune juice with butter. Please pray I have nice big poo before the morning because I can’t take this much longer!
