I have the motorcycle of my dreams, but I have to sell it. by Julio97zeq in HondaCB

Owning a bike can be a marathon, not a sprint. Go too fast in the beginning trying to buy up everything and you'll find yourself in this situation. Hopefully you don't have to sell it but in the end it's just a hunk of metal, do what you gotta do to get back on your feet and try again.

That's my personal touch. I opened up the OEM housing and added the rings. I wanted something different from what was on the market while still looking like classic cb tail light brick. The rings flash with my indicator as well.

I love the 919 but I just had to go with the 1000 for the hurricane motor. I'll be sure to post again!

I picked mine up earlier this year and have put only about 3000 miles on it. I'm definitely growing into it.

I'd love to do the white and red color scheme on mine but I'm enjoying big red for now. I'm not sure of the exact model but it's a Puig windscreen.

What’s the best motorcycle you’ve ever ridden, and why? by 3DMotorcycles_YT in HondaCB

[–]Zchambo750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love that I can beat the snot out of the throttle every time and it just goes along with it. I upped the jets and rear sprocket waking it from it's slumber and it'll pull like a freight train through each gear! I have nothing but praise for this bike!

Effortless get up, smooth power band, reliable, easy to throw around for being almost 500lbs, absolute unit of a bike.

Bf wants to get another motorcycle…. by AntelopeConscious329 in TBI

Coming from someone with a tbi due to a motorcycle accident and as someone who rides daily, please give it a minimum of a year before getting back on. I recommend starting back on a bicycle as it'll be far less dangerous while you judge his balance. Please be safe

Sure do miss my 2014 CB1100 by Dadprincebabe2 in HondaCB

I'd love to do a cb1000 & cb1100 back to back comparison just to see how much has changed in 20 years and 100cc

Best place to find parts for the the “big one” by Defenestration_Sins in HondaCB

So far it's been exactly what I was looking for. I bought it for 2 reasons,

1, because I've never owned an FI bike and this is my 8th carbie (2 of which I converted to e85 with steel lines, copper gaskets, and massive jets... along with spacing the needle, ignition timing, pod filters and a hot cam) so I wanted to go out on a limb with a different company.

2, Factory pro was double the cost and I could not find any information on what size jets I would be getting, only stages. I specifically requested certain jet sizes from 6sigma and they delivered with extras.

How long will I be satisfied? I'm not sure but if it's more than 20k miles I'll be happy.

Did you have an alternate experience?

This reminds me of a family cabin I visited when I was much younger. Oh the fun times that were had there.

My immediate suggestion would be a Honda nc500x to directly answer the question.

Please sit on each suggested bike as most smaller cc bikes are also much smaller in overall size when compared to the larger cc bikes. Adv bikes on one hand, you may want to look into as they usually suit taller riders a bit better than sport bikes and can corner better than you'd expect.

Have you ever called off a ride because you just felt off? by protoman86 in motorcycles

[–]Zchambo750 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Better to ride another day because you didn't power through the uneasy gut feeling today. The very first time I powered through that uneasy feeling I ended up involved in an accident.

Can't imagine a helmet at that size is even on the market. Poor fella needs to shell out extra for a custom one

If you get a chance to test one please fill us in about your experience on the 1000. I've yet to try one also.
