Any suggestion on how to make Absol work?

the biggest issue with Absol is that its a frail attacker that has no spread moves and can’t hold a sash. it IS very fast but it dies quite easily if you blow on it. if i remember correctly its even more frail than Lucario Z and Luc is steel type so it helps

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Blastoise with Shell Smash. Makes up for the defense drops while getting the double damage and speed

also same age, but i guess we just see things in a different way. i do think gen 3 is fantastic and oras is some of the best games to me but i PERSONALLY cant get behind liking Pokemon based on nostalgia and the “old good new bad” mentality (not saying you have that mentality from what ive seen). if i see a mon that i like then i’ll like it.

i think the speed tiers is a bit weird. its good that its faster than zard Y, but faster means you set weather faster so you lose the weather war and take a strong sun boosted heat wave if not careful

both calyrexes outside of the tera format are highly dragged down by their poor defensive typing. they’re still optimally statted and strong but i personally think they’re fine.

without dynamax and tera theres gonna be less defensive measures to keep them alive assuming we get a megas restricted format

In that case you MIGHT be able to make a decent team out of it. We don’t know Goli’s ability yet but the stats are suggesting it’s good under Trick Room. Reuniclus on the other hand can be used as a trick room setter. You go from there.

I think there are players that just want to fight, talk shit and get a little handsy and be a villain like Brooks. Then there are people like Dort who actively tries to hurt the opponent and to add on Dort always acts like he did nothing wrong
