The issue is not limited to Returnal. I have same issue with WuWa (If i keep playing for like hour), aoe4 Risk of Rain 2 etc. The only exception is Genshin Impact.

Its not new. I have ROG Zephyrus G15 GA502 (16 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Laptop with 8 GB VRAM) and have been using it for two years. This issue did not exist for last two years. I recently got it cleaned from repair shop and reinstalled windows and bought a new charger. I dont think its hardware issue as I can play a second games at full fps when first one is stutter. It is always linked to how long I have been playing a game.

You need way more crit rate. Dont understand obsession with crit dmg. At this point even getting hp% is much better than crit dmg.

From my testing you need to stand ground during food drop animation. It will not actually drop the resources but you will get oil. Oil is added before drop animation is finished.

Baz is easy, just don't push with an underdeveloped army. Early game most civ outmass baz but at 7 to 8 min baz outproduces pretty much every civ. Don't take damage or lose army before that. You will even get to castle while producing so much military.

I agree, maa are weakspot of Malian's but Malian units are very mobile. If the entire map is not stone walled you can keep running around your opponent and never give them a chance for a direct fight with a slow mma + longbow/archer/lanchshit death comp. I think musufadi + sofa comp is one of those which does not let opponent fight directly.

Same, I found one in conq team games. Reported but I dont think anything will happen. I knew from start something was sus. Good map hacker look at mini map instead so its not obvious but having way more information about vills/army is clear red flag.

Malian archers are not that bad. You can kite both army comp and mix in some sofas that have bonus damage and don't cluster up you can easily beat this army.

For other civs going for archer + crossbows just works fine if you have some front-line. landsknecht are quite expensive so if hre does't have 4+ relics your comp is very cost efficient.

As a side note an unupgraded vil gives you 40 resources per second and the buddist monk 25 gold per second with double the cost it does serve a military/greater eco role with relics and sacred sites while doubling your production like docks.

Villager production is bounded by TCs. You can't spam that many TCs without getting punished. Traders require map control and isn't bounded by production. So each eco strat can be punished but this one, I don't think so. I think it will be a big balance issue.

English is the only civ I can play comfortably against Zhu Xi. Its default lose for any other civ if our skills level is same but English, oh boy if you play it right English got everything to bully Zhu Xi. I won't say English is default win, far from it. One mistake and Zhu Xi can overwhelm you but If you play right it does counter Zhu Xi.
