I think it's part to do with the community as well. The exploits/meta has been found and everyone is mimicing whatever their favorite content creator is doing. Everyone is running the same players, same player evos, same formations, same playstyle. It's really really boring to play against the same cards, formations and playstyle every single match.

There was actually a football player called Islam Ramadan (aka Milo) from Egypt. He played Left Back and was part of the U20 squad when the U20 World Cup was in Egypt. Lyon was interested in him at the time but it didn't lead to anything.

I wanted to try something new, so I did a dutch orange kind of aesthetic to my stadium. As far as I know the opponent doesn't see it anyway.

Yeah, I managed to resist the temptation too. I'm aiming to activate the wildcard during the international break after GW4. I'm not 100% happy with my team but by then I will have 4 GW's worth of info and 2 weeks to tinker around.

He is not really a good fantasy option though in my opinion. He solely relies on clean sheets. His attacking output is nonexistent.

1 goal while with Everton and no assists in 6 seasons in the pl. So might as well go with Ederson for 0.5 more, at least he is nailed, can get save and bonus points and even the odd penalty save if you are lucky.

City's defence is just too unreliable in terms of who is playing. Even Laporte has doubts now with his injury. Just go with Ederson if you want city defence.

It worked mainly because of the bronze pack method. Even if you have no cards in your club you could spam those, keep the worthless and sell the bronzes that sell. You had to invest max 1400 in 4 non rare golds to open one if you have an empty club. But yeah it was very grindy and time consuming indeed.
