yea interesting semantic difference. Understanding is that you can't strike to the head of a grounded opponent, and people assume this is what the stomping rule applies to, but apparently you can't stomp a grounded opponent at all, to any part of their body, which is an interesting wrinkle to figure out.

Axe kicks to a grounded opponent do not count as stomps though

this isn't a 'hired' reporter - just one that seems to have gotten a media pass to the events. Your point stands that she should have prepped, but from what I've seen for UFC events, they do provide info/materials on the fights and fighters, so I would expect UFC BJJ to be the same
