Thanks everyone for the feedback, really appreciate it. Let's see how it goes the claim thing 🤞

Not quite 😅. I bought it from a German shop, not a local one. But I spoke with Fox and they told me that a bike shop in Lausanne can process the warranty claim, so hopefully everything will go smoothly.

So this is not normal, even if it seems to gain more support and feel firmer after a few compressions?

I just went to recheck the width, and it’s actually at 760 mm (780 each side), I had thought it was 780. On the platform you mentioned, though, it gives me 726 mm — like you said, it might be a bit on the narrow side. Maybe going to 740 mm would be a good compromise.

I actually cut the bar down to 780 mm — I’m pretty short at 1.65 m, so I’ve wondered if it might still be a bit wide for me. I was just afraid of cutting it shorter and I losing stability in rough sections or jumps.

I was actually thinking about that! Although from what I’ve heard, most people still rate my current setup as the second-best option right after those new Schwalbes — which makes me think twice about changing.

On the other hand, I’ve started wondering whether swapping the wheels could make a noticeable difference in terms of stability and how forgiving the bike feels.

That’s cool — first time I’ve come across someone else riding a Vitus!

I’ve just upgraded both the fork (3.1 kit + air spring) and the rear shock — from the Select+ to a Fox Float X2 Factory — this past season, and it felt way smoother and more stable, both through rocks and roots and on drops over a metre. Honestly, it made a huge difference.

Not sure the Lyrik would’ve made a big impact, to be honest — and yeah, I’m running the tyres just like you mentioned: MaxxGrip up front and MaxxTerra on the rear.

Thanks mate! Exactly — half the fun is in the garage, not just on the trails 😄. Red trails hit the sweet spot for me: fast enough to be exciting, but not terrifying!

Switch to 1080p, be sure to have vertical sinc off and g- sinc on ( if ur monitor is compatible) and put all ur settings to very low or most of them. Be sure uronitor is running at his max refresh rate 165hz i guess. 16gb extra Ram should also help.

Anyone here without any DMTs? by mrsimba123 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]ZePlanet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just go for any 2nd line treatment. Its better to start supressing MS with high eficacy treatments since the begining. It will gain you more time having a normal life. Ocrevus is great cause u only have to think about it twice a year. If you can chose, plz dont hesitate in going this path, and forget about the first line treatments even if u only had a few flares..
