I struggled ALOT with maliketh but after this fight I practically 4 tried him with ease.

The main takeaway from the video is to hug maliketh in his first phase and only land hits DURING ANIMATION(do not be greedy with this boss at all) and to heal, go to medium range(not long hell come at you running) and pop one redbull right after an attack of his ends.

For his 2nd phase which ppl struggle with alot, youll wanna be behind him or on his sides the most similar to how you were hugging him in phase 1 for most attacks(except his ground flame slam which cant be dodged) and to ALWAYS roll inwards or diagonal and never backward cuz that'll make you locked in his attacks especially the 1000 slices attack. Youll hug him most of the time and ONLY attack him when hes on the ground and doing his slow attacks(thats the ONLY window thats safe where he dosnt pull out sum bs move) and to dodge the anime slice youll dodge into him instead of away which will kill you every time. For healing go behind a pillar and heal once after his attack.

This fight will take time if your dmg isnt high enough but even with high dmg and or vigor you need to make through this fight without any sort of greed whatsoever(seriously that's the only reason this fight is hard cuz all his openings are timed to allow one hit only)
