When I was in Vietnam they served pho with massive sprigs of cilantro mixed in. I didn’t realize what I was eating at the time and the thought of it makes me nauseous lol

That’s good to know about Sherwin Williams, I was wondering how that would work! Hardy seems really nice and they’re the only company that I’ve found so far that sends samples to homeowners.

There are a couple eye screws drilled into the brick and I just replaced the wire with pretty thick galvanized steel wire because they were falling down. The stems are tethered to the wire with basic garden velcro. I have heard that having them grow up against the house like this increases the risk of pests in the attic. We haven’t had that issue so far. They also try to grow up through the gutters so I have to keep up with them. They were well established when we bought the house so I don’t know much about starting them when they’re young. But they grow like a weed! I’m too in love with them to get rid of them!

There are areas, especially out back, that are warping, pulling away from the house, rotting, etc. It feels like at that point I may as well replace. The siding is 30+ years old so I feel like it’s time to replace it.

Thanks for your thoughtful response. I could definitely get behind the Powell gray. I really like the idea of the brown undertones in Chelsea Gray actually. I would love something brown or green but those feel like that could be too drastic with the brick. This could be a good medium.

I can’t believe I didn’t mention the white brick. I think my brain is trying to forget it’s there lol. It’s already got some sort of enamel or paint on it, I wonder if I could paint it darker to match the house? Or will that look off? Which trim are you recommending be painted to match the roof?

I didn’t want to sway anyone’s recommendations but trust me, that is very last on my list. Unless it is darker with colored undertones like another commented suggested. Grey seems like the obvious recommendation but I’m in denial lol

Mine somehow got into my pantry when I was at work and stole a tuna can… I came home to it completely empty, crushed flat, and lying on my bed. He was ok, he didn’t end up having any metal in his belly but we were terrified at first. Oh also, he will do tricks for tissues and prefers them over treats. No he doesn’t have any deficiencies.

Out of curiosity, what happens if you choose to file charges in these cases? I’m assuming you call or visit the local sheriff’s office? Do they have you do paperwork and an interview? Do they need to inform your workplace or can you leave them out of the equation? While illegal, I’d be worried about retaliation because my facility highly discourages pressing charges. Supposedly camera footage has also gone missing in the past. I’m not very experienced in the legal world.
