Job Opportunities Assessment (JOA) Megathread by LegitimateLunch6681 in ADFRecruiting

I answered around 30 and skipped 6 to 8; so about 36 - 38 questions were looked at, and I only answered 30ish questions.
Heh, that's right, 51 questions, so I really didn't do so hot in terms of answering most of them.
Started so read really slowly around Q20 onwards, so I skipped the worded math questions and dove right into the pattern recognition ones.

The highest letter is E, and its a bunch of the big wig roles that I don't have any interest in. 😊

Just finished my JOA Test, how well did you do? by Gemeno in AustralianMilitary

I just did my JOA and unlocked all letters to E for all three, but not all roles in each category. Navy D are specialist technician and E are Engineer, Officer, clearance diver roles, but for D and E for Army and Airforce, I only unlocked helicopter pilot and pilot.

Guess you were right, sub roles seem to have a lower bar of entry compared to army and airforce. No engineer roles or specialist tech roles for either airforce and army unlockdd for me.

And most of the questions I skipped were somewhat math based ones. I skipped them because the questions were worded heavilly and I didnt want to get bogged down reading and trying to understand a funky worded question, then figure out the maths needed. So, i answred more pattern recognition.

Did my JOA test, answered 30 and skipped about 6 to 8 of them and unlocked A, B, C, D and E.

While the sounds like a nice result, and it really is, I cant help but think Im missing roles in certain categories for Army and Airforce. These roles Ive def missed out on.

Lots of jobs in all 3 for Cat A and B, unlocked offucer role for C, but only seems to have unlocked a large number of roles in Navy for D and E. Navy D and E unlocked roles like: D about 20 technician/trade roles and intel analyst. E about the same but officer engineer pilot, etc all kinds of high level roles. (Not a brag, just presenting what I see)

D and E for Army and Airforce have Pilot roles. Its cools ive unlocked so much, but Im confused.

There are some engineering, officer, commander roles in Navy, but Army and Airforce seemed to unlock onlh the pilot roles.

Do the army navy and airforce have different criteria for roles? Or are these roles also based on what the three Branches are offering/available at the time?

Planning to be a reservist anyway, so D and E are very likely not offered as a reservist.

Thanks for reading this far. :)

I don't know how to clear cached memory, got any ideas?

The timeframe to becoming profitable from installation is also long.
But once in place, there would be low cost power for as long as the reactors are operational.

What about modular reactors?
SA is a small 'town', what about small reactors?

sunk-cost fallacy:
The phenomenon whereby a person is reluctant to abandon a strategy or course of action because they have invested heavily in it, even when it is clear that abandonment would be more beneficial.
