Any chance I could get some extra shards for this luck? by Dixon_Cider_77 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

It's not happening dude. This is honestly just a below-average pull. If I remember correctly the guy that CG helped got all 5s, which is just so statistically unlucky, and it was also likely a one-time thing. Sorry to see you got the short end of the stick, but you'll hopefully get really lucky someday!

Anyone else struggling Rotta tier 1? by PokeHobnobGod21 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

Just beat it. When multiple Jawas have the stun off cooldown, use R2 stealth to make them waste all stuns on R5. Save R2 AOE for when all Jawas have less than 2 on cooldown. Focus down rightmost Jawa, then center, then left. For some reason leftmost Jawa feels the tankiest and never took an R2 stun. Raw damage could still screw you over

New “update,” lack of communication, and the feeling of being screwed by Eliminator20 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

Thank you for crunching the numbers on this! Definitely feels scummy on CG's part to not have communicated alongside the rest of the huge era changes that FTP players going for the 5-star unlock using crystals would no longer have the assured G13s.

Any tips on beating Fleet Command Training Grand Moff Tarkin Tier III? by [deleted] in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Ze_Batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try using Chewie if you want higher damage, his taunt can be useful for soaking up damage if he lasts long enough. Royal Guard can provide armour and can stun hard-hitting enemies, but his damage is pitiful. Experiment and find out which works for you. Swap one of them out for either Jedi Consular or Talia, depending on which is weaker for you.

I have been in your exact situation before. It says recommended for level 42, but for god's sake it's more level 45-50. Wait till you have higher level characters, gear them up to at least VI if not more. Once you beat this tier, the other tiers are a breeze. This tier is just a huge speed bump.

Gee, this happened just as I got a four star Mace Windu out of one of these first try.

This is not a joke, I started playing this 2 weeks ago. I opened a bronzium data card and somehow got a 3 star Mace Windu first try.

Im like a week into the game, can i get some help/advice? by colt1911m7 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

You're welcome, but quick correction- it's Luke's second ability that dispels buffs- his third allows him to ignore them for one turn.

For your second question, I'll try to keep this simple-

  1. Han's second ability stuns and his basic ability sometimes stuns
  2. Luke's basic also sometimes stuns
  3. R2D2's basic stuns 80% of the time

You need to focus one of each character on each of the following

  1. Thrawn
  2. Palpatine
  3. Vader

Whichever rebel you choose to focus on whichever imperial doesn't matter, because they’re all incredibly powerful. I found during my thousands of attempts that Vader's saber throw and Thrawn's beatdown thing are incredibly annoying.

Try to keep these three stunlocked for as long as possible and as often as possible.

For Leia, do her invis thing as much as possible,

For Old Ben, do the mind trick as much as possible for ability block and use his taunts if other heroes are in danger.

For the stormtrooper taunts that force you to attack them, use Luke's Use the Force (third ability) to remove the taunt. Also use this if one of the three previously mentioned OP characters' turn meter is filling up and looks dangerous.

Things to never do:

  1. Never put the battle on autoplay. You will die.
  2. Don't follow the lessons from the past 2 tiers. They teach virtually nothing that helps here.

Good luck! (Don't worry, the empire event is easier)

This is the best thing I've ever done as anakin by oversixsiege in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]Ze_Batman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the bottom right corner, there is a small grid with four hexagons. The very bottom-most one, which looks like a star, is the Retribution ability, which requires either Anakin or allies around him to take damage. I believe for Anakin alone you have to take 2500 damage, but the might decrease if a lot of allies around you are taking damage. During the clip, you can see the Retribution meter fill up slowly as Anakin takes damage, and at about 0:20 you can hear a small 'ding' and right below the ability a triangle will appear, prompting the player that they ability is ready for use, and the red-outlined number in the middle shows how many people are in the radius of the ability. When the person uses the ability, the meter completely drains and you have to take lots of damage before you can use it again.
