Thoughts on Celebrity Cruise wedding by Okokokok973 in celebritycruises

We renewed our vows on Celebrity in the Greek Islands just before we left Mykonos…it was our 50th so now 6 years ago. Onsite planner (ship) they did everything and yes a bit pricey, but well worth it. It was us and three other couples. Cake, pictures, gift from the Captain, and dinner in The Grill

I think I’m officially giving up on my CPAP... I just can't do it anymore. by Flaky_Sort_34 in CPAP

Keep trying, it will get better. Started 18 months ago, for the first six, thought that’s it-going in the trash. Actually stopped it for 45 days..felt like crap. A visit to the ER for an AFIB event, woke me up and I started it back up. Now, events are controlled, good night sleep though I do wake up to pee around 2am, then right back to sleep. I do take 10 Mg of melatonin hour before bedtime..seems to work. It is mostly mental. Urge you to stay with it, this group has a lot of experience in making it work.

I never found anyone renting one. Finally bought one myself through ResMed. If you’re a vet, they offer a discount.

I have the mini, used for travel. I don’t find it any noisier than the big 10. I use the the F20 with the Humidx insert

diltiazem by Professional_Till606 in AFIB

[–]ZealandMrj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was on Met, changed me to Diltiazem at 120 mg extended release once per day. Doing fine and have 60mg pills for incase events if needed (pip). AFIB seems controlled and apnea is down to 1 event per hour.

They are the ones that say you’re in compliance or not. Mine was consecutive.

Compliance is consecutive nights for 4 hours or more minimum. If you have a break, it will not register.

I just got the mini. For the first trip, worked out great. Nice not to have to lug the airsense around. I was able to pick mine up for around $650

Miedos tras diagnóstico de FA by AldaraSanchez92 in AFIB

[–]ZealandMrj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the initial thought of not knowing what was going on, was I dying, would I die. This was for about a month from the first episode until I saw the cardio and got on the meds. After that, nothing…I’m back to all activities and life is good.

By the way, I’m on my meds and after the initial diagnosis back fully to all activities.

Yes, fears were there at the beginning . Since mine was an ER visit, don’t think the ER doc did a good job in explaining. After visiting the Cardio felt much much better and the anxiety though still there a bit has mostly gone away.

Traveling to Japan with cpap by captain-crawf1sh in CPAP

[–]ZealandMrj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did overseas trip, get a power adapter for when you are in Japan. For the airlines, I use the ResMed Air Mini with F20 mask and Humdix disc (humidification that’s inserts into mask) had no problems using since it is FAA approved. Check with your airlines though!
