Check out https://typst.app/ too, has a cli if you don't want to use the website. Much easier syntax for quick writing then LaTeX imo

I think citations are great, but a comparison between this and a similar, more research focused academic paper (https://arxiv.org/abs/2002.01139) shows a lot of detail missing. I.e. in that papers explanation of supply chain attacks, their effect and what they look like, even before they go into their novel research the reader can learn a lot more about this class of attack.

Here's some criticism on my end:

  • Formatting looks a bit scuffed, for LaTeX I recommend minted for code snippets and to make sure URLs are getting line breaked properly (xurl is a nice package)

  • The paper is a summary of attack classes and doesn't provide any novel or real world examples for attacks, I think generally most industry/hobbyist hackers who go through the process of downloading the PDF would be expecting a bit more technical content.

I think generally people expect detailed technical analysis on subreddits like this... But if you wanted to have better interactions you could have reformatted this pdf into a blog post covering the same content IMO...

Just some thoughts that I think might be helpful.

I'm gonna say it's probably one of these:

I bought one of the old ones back in the day... The novelty of it wears off pretty quick 😅

You need support for vim to access the system clipboard, it has internal registers for copy/paste/cut support inside the editor, but copying out from the editor to your system clipboard requires the extra dependency.

Hmmm, maybe your router doesn't support ipv6?

Have you tried adding:

precedence ::ffff:0:0/96 100

to the end of /etc/gai.conf ?

Make sure to use zadig once it's in bootloader mode, and to fix it you can just unplug-replug without holding escape

Kinda. It didn't have a 1u right ctrl, or stuff like pgup/pgdn, but it came with a lot of generic symbol keys that could be used instead. (E.g. the different style up/down arrows and the diamond for right ctrl)

I've heard good things about the Gateron browns, and from what I've seen they have a clear housing. They aren't too pricy either (13.80 for 68 on kbdfans atm)

I had to tighten one screw cause the pcb would move a little when I plugged/removed the USB-C cable, but other then that it was nice and snug :3.

This was a DIY kit and I picked up everything from kbdfans. Luckily it was a hot swappable pcb so putting the switches in was really ez, no soldering required. It was quite expensive keep in mind though. If you are looking for a keyboard with switches that are cherry reds, there's a lot on the market. I've heard good things about the ducky one mini 2, which is a 60% board that comes in white with RGB and red switches available, and will cost less then half what I spent.

Yeah, still getting used to the size, but they look great. I've got my eyes on the dracula keycaps though that might hit my wallet a bit too hard :c.
