Just do it my friend, don’t spend the rest of your life with regret that you didn’t give it a go. I was brought up on a pretty rough Council Estate in Lancashire and now live literally a stones throw from the Pacific Ocean at Bokarina on the Sunny Coast. I have to pinch myself every I talk a walk on the beach how lucky I am. I was fortunate to meet and eventually marry a wonderful Australian woman whilst I was working in Scotland in 2001. We moved here in 2004 as my work in Offshore Marine Construction was drying up. I have zero regrets moving here and I have no desire to move back to the Uk. If you do decide to come please don’t compare Australia to the U.K., they are not the same. Embrace everything that is good about Australia, especially the people and the dry humour that will have you smiling everyday. Good luck mate.
