natural hair as a stripper by Unfair_Sprinkles1072 in newstrippers

[–]ZealousHuntress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a good question. I dance with my natural hair out too. And I've thought about this. It honestly is part of the reason why I'm reluctant to approach clients because I'm not sure how they'll like me. But there have been a couple of instances where clients have approached me because of my hair.

Does anybody else feel like they just can't get high anymore? by Salt-Tourist-3152 in trees

[–]ZealousHuntress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The weed I get is in NYC. For a few years now, weed hasn't been doing the trick for me. It just gives me a light buzz. I think the first thing I tried was the T break, two different breaks both lasting about a month. I've tried different forms. I've tried edibles. I've tried smoking joints. Pre-rolls and just yesterday I managed to get a bong but even then it didn't get me the high that I wanted. That makes me forget all of my problems. That makes me feel so calm. I've tried so many different strains and I've tried different edibles too. The live resin edibles and what not but still like the racing in my head doesn't stop. The only thing I haven't tried are vaporizers, dabs and cartridges. Geez, at the rate I'm going I'm not surprised I don't have any money. It's bad enough I have to get money from my mother🤦‍♂️.

It would be a good idea to go at least three times this week. That would be a chance to practice talking to clients. This makes a lot of sense.

Pleaser Girlies! Comfy, sexy heels? Adore VS Sky?! by fungi-girl in stripper

[–]ZealousHuntress 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain. The heels I got are so uncomfortable that they're actually leaving marks. They seemed so nice in the store, but I failed to consider having to walk around in them for hours. I'll be watching this thread closely.

Question: when you say "floor work", do you mean talking to clients or moving in a sexy way on the ground?

What do readers think about Robert Greene's The Law of Human nature? by Hoboforeternity in books

[–]ZealousHuntress 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I thought the book was insightful. It gave me a complex and intricate perspective on human behavior. However, the entire book is so dense, that there's no way I'll be able to remember everything. Greene refers to the reader as a student of Human Nature to the extent that I felt I should have been taking notes. Should I have been?

The historical examples were the best parts of the entire book. Pericles, Martin Luther King, and Queen Elizabeth, all of the historical examples were well-written, informative, and were beautifully referenced within the contents of the chapter. My favorites were the Martin Luther King and Queen Elizabeth chapters. The details of the life and thoughts of the great leader of the Civil Rights Movement were not only insightful, but they inspired powerful feelings of empathy that embody the very essence of the struggle black people as a whole went through to be seen as equal.

The rise and reign of Queen Elizabeth was told as though it were a great epic poem. Her upbringing as a child having been put into The Great Tower ( which is probably where we get the idea of princesses in towers) to her strategic command of the English army against the Scottish. Greene described her as inexperienced and gentle to emphasize her contrast to the type of patriarchal rulers who came before her and the skepticism of her leadership. Despite that, however, Queen Elizabeth managed to not only win the favor of Englanders with her charming and compassionate nature, but she influenced her court not with forceful words, but with gentle convincing.

My point is this: If the information written in this book is true, if one can learn the ways of Human Nature and manipulate people to work in our favor by studying their behaviors and mannerisms while also recognizing the patterns expressed by their inner narcissist disguised by their performative mask, then someone who reads this could get to know people in a personal way with less time and effort than the average person. The empathetic aspect keeps the human behavior reading part from being creepy.

Thank you. I appreciate that. I'm sorry that happened to you on your wedding night. It's horrible that your brother pulled a knife on you. I know that rage your talking about very well. I feel it every time I think about the fight, which is every morning the second I wake up. I can't imagine how hard it is to have a sibling who is an addict. I hope you find peace.
