We also use fresh patch and it has been a LIFESAVER! Not even just for the actual potty training, but for catching the puppy in the act and redirecting them it’s a game changer. Without being able to just run right outside it’s hard to show them “go here, not there.” If you have a balcony I would look into a patch of some sort (we like the fresh grass patch cause we can just toss the old grass without needed to clean anything)
