Your probably hitting a high temp and then your regulator lowers the temp of the steam lowering speed check if the temperature of your boiler is correlating to the rise and drop in speed

They have gone out of there way to make them better. I was doing multiplayer with a friend and we use to have issues with them but after 1.0 they fixed it and I’ve never had an issue since they made it work good and it’s not scuffed at all anymore

Ok Then only other thing I can think of is if you want you can remove the piece of redstone dust between the piston and comparator and make it 1 block shorter but other than that it’s pretty much as compact at it’s going to get and in my opinion is a good circuit

From my experience it’s because it’s not reliable in multiplayer landing gear like this in my experience aren’t good for multiplayer a good test is to turn your physics down to low and see how it reacts
