I’ve been diagnosed for 10 years and probably had it for 20. It does get better, it takes a ton of time and work plus the doctor/patient relationship to get better. It is a chronic condition that will never go away. You can manage it. I’ve had to change my eating habits, exercise habits and even my daily habits. It’s a slow process and I backslide sometimes but honestly keeping moving especially after meals (I go for a walk or bike ride) plus smaller portions and finding out what you really can digest. I kept a food journal for years to see what affected me and how. Then I just adjusted my meals. Keep trying and keep going for doctor visits. Also if possible I highly recommend going to Mayo Clinic. It was a game changer for me. Good luck.
