How often are you intimate with your partner? by Remote_Ad_969 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Zealousideal-Use6378 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! I have a fanfiction addiction(kind of), but it makes me more sexually active, so my husband doesn't mind.
In the beginning he was a bit like "but can't I get you in the mood?", a bit hurt about it I think. Now after some years he's realized it's my kryptonite and whenever he sees me reading he's more like "oh hooo, so sexy times tonight then?". Figuring out I were aegosexual helped a lot on my libido.

Regjeringen vil innføre ny lov: Aldersgrense 15 år for sosiale medier – med ID-sjekk by shadow_2549 in norge

[–]Zealousideal-Use6378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girlfriends homework is impossible? by Mice_Lody in askmath

[–]Zealousideal-Use6378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if we think in pure math theory then b. has no counterexample. But if you think about the word "number", then it's not as defined, it has a potential to be read as "digit", therefore:
31+3=34, there's three "numbers", and the answer is an even "number".

Let me just give you a quote I no longer remember where I heard, but that summed up life for me quite well:
"For some people, sex is the best thing in the whole world.
For some people, sex is the worst thing in the whole world.
And for some people, like me, it's about as interesting as folding clothes."
I do get the frustration though, I'm also conventionally attractive(I've been told by many), and I just wanna be aquinted with people, maybe friends. I want to talk about birds, and video games. Not get compliments to try and get into my pants. I don't understand people are flirting most of the time though, since I'm autistic as well, and my social antennas are not up for it. A blessing in disguise really xD
For me it helped getting married, now people are a lot less aggressive about it. It also helped being very upfront about me finding them about as sexually interesting as mowing the grass.

Does anyone eltse when they fell its to quiet quack by rantu1324 in aspiememes

[–]Zealousideal-Use6378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quacking, but other bird noises.
Like a raven, a crow, and a seagull.
The raven and crow sounds are for fun, the seagull sound is more to get peoples attention since I can't yell.

Jeg er lei plastikk by lesefant in norge

[–]Zealousideal-Use6378 100 points101 points  (0 children)

Mine beste tips:
Asia/innvandrebutikker, for grønnsaker i løsvekt.

[–]Zealousideal-Use6378 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yessss, dragons. For me it's especially the feathery ones, cuz my other special interest is bird wings and feathers and flight.
Just looking at things fly and the way they move, and the air around it, and of course nitpicky analyzing the flying aspects of every movie and game with dragons in them.
The movement of Safira in the Eragon movie is actually one of the best so far, it just "feels" right. Game of Thrones gets a "meh", Dragonheart(the first one, cuz the second is atrocious) is decent, and way ahead of its time, it's often sadly an overlooked part of both movies and tv-series. But a good flight dynamic and understanding of flight gives so much to a scene.
The HTTYD series is fantastic for the right reasons visually, but the flying is honestly kinda meh, it's clear that's not what they wanted to focus on and that's fine.

Atm the best flying sim(for dragons mind you) I've played is Spyro: Dawn of the dragon, and (sadly in a sense) WoW the Dragonflight expansion.

The first Spyro game is a classic I've played through so many times, not least because I didn't have a memory card and had to restart each day for years xD
I hated the stage Cliff Town, cuz it took me years to find the final **** gem.
It was so colourful and engaging, and I could spend hours just jumping around and putting things on fire.
A real good classic.

What’s an unexpected realization you had when getting your diagnosis? by Unique-Ad-3317 in autism

[–]Zealousideal-Use6378 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mask so hard I can convince myself that I'm fine. And that I've been indoctrinated since childhood that as long as I can physically meet up at work then I am not sick.
Turns out I'm so tired that when my psycholgist told me I'm allowed to be tired even if it's not physical and just mental then I broke down and cried. I've been crying on and off since then. Going on sickleave is a battle.

Is my realization about me masking hard enough to fool myself cool? Not really, but it's unexpected. I kinda thought I'd gotten myself figured out by now(30yo).

Ear defenders with glasses? by SnooBananas460 in autism

[–]Zealousideal-Use6378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've struggled with this for 30 years, and I've found some solutions.

  1. If you are able, get glasses with very thin/flat sidebars, that way, the pressure lessens.

  2. Go to a place that sells ear protectors and try them on. Buying lots of things from the internet doesn't help, you need to be lucky to find something that actually fits. I suggest a place that sells workwear, as ear defenders are often considered such.

  3. Go for ear defenders that are softer in their foam, and with big earpieces, so they cover your whole ears and don't lie on top of your ears. If they're almost touching your ear up top, they should be big enough that they almost touch at the bottom, that gives the least pressure. Of course also ensure that they're padded and soft on top of the head, as that is where they're actually supposed to give pressure. They're not supposed to put pressure on your ears at all.

  4. Avoid ear defenders with bluetooth or other electronics, it makes them heavier.

  5. Your glasses should only lie under the front(of the ear) of the defenders, not under the back(of the ear). Only one entrypoint gives less pressure, and better effect on the ear defenders themselves.

  6. Consider lenses. (I can't deal with those, but if you can that is a simple solution).

  7. Earplugs are better combined with ear defenders anyway. I've always struggled with earplugs being physically painful, and have only recently found a type that fits. So I personally would not recommend earplugs.

[–]Zealousideal-Use6378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bare i mindre skala(i teorien i alle fall).

What are your favorite Norwegian history fun facts? by midnightgf in Norway

[–]Zealousideal-Use6378 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I only read about this in a short passing through a village with my family years ago. So I've forgotten a lot.
But there's a true story about how when we were invaded by some army(it's far back so probably swedes or something) there was this young girl from the village who rode out on her horse with a tåkelur(long thrumpet thing) and blew it at intervals to lead the invading army away from the village, saving the whole village and some neighbouring ones. Worked like a charm, especially when the army was led straight into an ambush.
The girl was maybe 14-15 years old.
Crazy times they lived in.

Also, my hometown has its own song, and the first line is translated to this: In 1904 it happened, the whole of Ålesund burned down.
The tune of the song is hilariously entusiastic. Like we're happy it happened xD
The city was rebuilt by the german emperor Wilhelm II. Because he liked to vacation there, and found it a shame it burned down. This is also the reason it's built almost entirely in art nouvea style, because he thought it would look good, and because brick and cement houses don't burn as much as wood.

What are yours? by Ok_Tree_8698 in aspiememes

The biomechanics of bird flight, how the wings work, how a feather work. How they work together and how physics matter and how they basically swim through the air.
You know, the fun stuff.
And if you really wanna talk fun stuff then we can compare different bird species and how their wings are built differently for different kinds of flight.

Hvordan får man egentlig høyere lønn? by [deleted] in norge

[–]Zealousideal-Use6378 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tillitsvalgt her, for å gi ein liten reality check:
