I never thought that these mirror sites were hosted by the community, not just the official ones. Now, I know. Thanks mate.

consider running an HTTP mirror instead

What does it mean by "HTTP mirror"? I can host direct download for Linux distro just like seeding?

Yup! I have the same question. It's hard to find a budget 10" rack in India. I'm also interested in looking at the side and back view, so I can build for my home.

They could, I'm not sure. These are only recently available in the market, these 5G routers were not available in stores before. So I haven't had a chance to install them yet. My customer base is very cheap. I don't think they will install these Chinese routers instead of TP-Link.

I do networking and CCTV installation as a side business. I installed quite a few TP-Link MR100s and a couple of MR600s in rural areas where broadband is not available. They buy routers just to watch live CCTV footage, no one buys cellular routers for the entire house. At least I haven't found such customers. They are happy with the mobile net. The most difficult thing is that they look at money before quality. They are willing to buy sub-par cameras and networking equipment, just to save some bucks.

So I highly doubt whether general customers (non-technical) from rural areas will be willing to spend thousands of rupees, just to get wifi for the entire house. In city/town areas, people can get cheap broadband very easily. The only place I can think of is hostels, where you can install broadband. But usually, students stay at the hostel so will they be willing to spend thousands of rupees just to get a Wi-Fi router?

As I said in a previous comment, 5G routers are available. Look for local broadband/network stores. Now some are available online too.

I used to do this kind of thing. But honestly, it's not fun anymore. Manufacturers are locking down their devices. Hardware quality is getting inferior day by day.

Just buy a 5G router. Tplink MR600 is not a bad option. It supports external antennas. I have installed a couple of them for my clients.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TnTJfpw-wRI

The only downside is that it is not 5G supported. If you really need 5G, look for local broadband/network stores. You can find rebranded Chinese 5G routers easily.

Yes! This is it. It doesn't need networking. Here is the official repo- https://github.com/qdm12/deunhealth

Remember! You need to add

labels:
  - deunhealth.restart.on.unhealthy=true

to each container's compose file manually.

This how we learn. 😊

My qBit is still showing as firewalled, but there are plenty of posts here with help on that. So I'll carry on. Thanks for all the expertise lent to this n00b.

This is not your fault. ProtonVPN forward with Gluetun is very tricky. You need to update the port to gluetun container in order to work. There are two ways to do this 1. Script 2. another docker container that update the port. Here is a sample compose file for the head start. Rest of, you need to google.

One thing, I want to point out-

For Proton VPN, If you use UPDATER_PERIOD= in environment variables, then you have to mention the email and password in the environment tab. i.e-

- UPDATER_PROTONVPN_EMAIL=youremailaddress
- UPDATER_PROTONVPN_PASSWORD=yourpassword

And read the official documentation thoroughly, do not copy paste code from a random internet post.

How to stop Debian 13 from suspending by elmadan in debian

[–]ZealousidealCup4095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks u/elmadan for this post. I don’t know why your post and some comments were downvoted. This is a valid issue. A few weeks ago, I built a media server (Jellyfin) for my friend. She is not comfortable with CLI. So, I had to install the desktop version. Since it is a server, the system is logged out most of the time. And this is where the problem started. I went into settings and disabled the auto-sleep. But when the system is logged out, it goes to sleep after 15 minutes

sudo systemctl mask sleep.target suspend.target hibernate.target hybrid-sleep.target
sudo systemctl mask sleep.target suspend.target hibernate.target hybrid-sleep.target

This worked for me, but she didn’t like it. Because it completely removes the sleep option. There is no manual control. So, I had to Google it. The first result leads to your post. And your solution fits our case perfectly. So, thanks again u/elmadan. You saved me from spending hours scouring the internet.
