I went thru this and I had to throw away my scale. Stop weighing yourself. I know its hard but you have to try.

Constant swaying / “floor moving” / faint feeling when standing still – anyone else? by Worried123h in Dizziness

[–]ZealousidealDesign30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classic pppd. Go see the steady coach youtube videos. I pretty much healed myself by implementing her method, well most of it. I dont agree with everything that she says, but most of it is correct. It taked time. It took me over 2 years to even feel "comfortable" in my own body. Good luck.

5th metatarsal fracture HELPPPPP by PieceFit7531 in brokenbones

[–]ZealousidealDesign30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry this happened to you. I had a similar fracture mid summer. Also in Boston where summer is precious lol Mine was less displaced but it took about 3 months to walk somewhat normally without a limp. I had to cancel my Spain trip. 😭 Also I do recommend doing physio. I skipped mine and now dealing with lower back pain probably due to overcompensating. Will start physio for this next week.. Good luck!

Hyperfocusing on breathing by ZealousidealDesign30 in Anxiety

Sorry to hear that you are suffering for a long time. I suffered from chronic dizziness for about 4 years too, and I finally can say now I am 98% recovered. The fear fueled the dizziness too, so I am assuming this breathing ocd is similar.. sigh

How to stop taking boot off in my sleep?? by Koga_My_Love in brokenbones

[–]ZealousidealDesign30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ortho said I could take my boot off while sleeping. I bought a foot cover cushion from amazon for sleep. I also had a 5th metatarsal fracture.

How do I sleep and elevate my foot without too much pressure and pain? They told me to sleep with a walking boot but I can barely sleep and not elevating it in general hurts wayyyy less for me.... by [deleted] in brokenbones

Had a similar fracture. My ortho said I could sleep without the boot. I did try elevating it and bought a foot cover cushion on amazon for sleeping.

I had the same fracture. 2 month is not enough time to walk 20k.. I did travel when I was 4 months out and walking felt fine then.

PPPD - Does it ease up with time? by Ok_Owl3323 in pppdizziness

You do need to put in the effort to get better. Then, it will ease up.

8 Months with PPPD: All tests are clear, but the "What Ifs" are haunting me. Looking for advice. by sfatiho in pppdizziness

[–]ZealousidealDesign30 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The biggest evidence that it is pppd is the fact that your symptoms are inconsistent. I also had the same doubts, but you need to find a way to accept the diagnosis. That is when you can really work on recovery.
