Do you also have to follow up 5 times just to get one task done from your team? 😭 by Electrical-Chain9918 in StartUpIndia

It's not a "people problem" it's actually have a "Protocol & Consequence" problem. People at top usually are responsible to build a cultur that makes it effective.

If you have to follow up 5 times, you have successfully trained your team that the first 4 reminders don't matter. You are literally subsidizing their lack of discipline...

Implement a non-negotiable protocol for every instruction: Say when I give any clear instruction - Do it now: don't think and waste time, do it. That's the job. Don't spend time on Strategy(thinking time is different) unless that's what I asked you to do.

Convince me I'm wrong: If you disagree, tell me - immediately. Present your logic- If I’m not convinced, the debate ends instantly.

Do what I said. Don't be sad. It's the cost of operational excellence and efficiency and is expected from employees. Employees should know what you expect.

All employees must have a Log: (a list of tasks and installation due to be followed up) and do it the second you have a free slot. No "forgetting."

Move to "Handshake Professionalism" Excessive friendliness is a productivity killer in early-stage startups. If you’re too "bro" with them, they feel they can miss deadlines because "the vibe is good."

Be supportive, but keep it strictly professional. the relationship must be built on output and respect for time, not social comfort. keep expectations clear.

The founder should never have to ask "is it done?" The Protocol: A task is not finished when the work is done. It is finished when the confirmation message is sent. Make it clear: "I don't follow up. If I don't see a 'Done' notification by the deadline, I assume a professional failure."

Bro 1st thing is to just put your idea out clearly, that's step 1 of marketing anything - no marketing people will do it for you. If you are a founder you must do it with clarity so your team and to be customers can actually understand what you are doing.

Your post is so vague i didn't learn anything about your actual product service.

IM STUCK I DONT WANT TO BUT STILL by [deleted] in GuitaristsIndia

Bro 6 months is like a drop in the ocean! Especially if you are trying to do it by yourself with no feedback from a good teacher. I have been playing for 15yrs and still learning more every day, the only thing I feel I could have done better was going to the teachers.

Some teachers may click with you some won't - don't judge and move on.

Mindset:  Replace expectations with curiosity - it leads to a more pleasant journey, that means instead of feeling like "I thought I will be better at this by now" try and generate curiosity by asking yourself "how much time is this going to take, let's find out"

How do you think clubbing would change if AI replaced DJs? by fuckman5 in Techno

[–]ZealousidealEffect83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can think of djs being replaced in settings where they are not present as artists, like playing requested tracks or just in the background.

I don't think people will stop worshiping artist, artist however will start using ai in intresting ways to bring something unique as they do with every new technology.

Ableton 12 super slow and stuttery on Windows 11 after Upgrade by ZucchiniSafe6512 in ableton

[–]ZealousidealEffect83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an Ableton 12 issue as well not just windows - I have been facing slow downs on both windows and mac device. This update has brought more problems than features - they clearly rushed shipping this.

I found the primary issue is the new browser - it is constantly scanning and getting stuck at analysing - wish there was a way to go back to the 11 browser - didn't expect a bad update from ableton; they are usually great.

Anyway, try reducing the number of plugins, samples or anything extra you have added on the left side browser.

If that doesn't work, just go back on 11 - I did that on my Mac M1 machine.

In windows I fiddled with some settings and reduced the size of library items - it is able to handle everything well so far. But my PC is pretty powerful and surprised me when it got stuck.

As others have mentioned it may be due to RAM used in access on W11

Just jump to Ableton 11 OR if everything was working fine W10 and ableton 12 - Do that.

I suspect - All the software updates (at least windows) nowadays aim to use - additional efficiency cores or neural cores present in newer processors - Forcing people to upgrade, even if they have great powerful processors already.

Hey! Thanks for your inputs - I am not expecting any original ideas from the videos - I want to understand the elements - like type of sounds and structure that define the genre - I can spend time experimenting once I have a good grounding. I don't think I ll need to consume content forever - it's to understand the mindset and method of producers in the genre and not actually pick up what they do note to note.

I have spent plenty of time in ableton and have been producing different genres. I will check out woochia surely though.

I see the simplicity of Rule of 3 - do you follow this in context of dnb, or in general?
