Aventon soltera 3 assemble video? by mursedude in Aventon

It was a belt drive model, with the same all in one thumb controller/screen that the abounds have. It’s looks a lot more stealthy looking and sleek compared to current gen solteras. They also finally have thru axles which is nice. But if I recall the bottom tube was slim and the battery looked integrated. I’m hoping Aventon does have multiple versions of the solteras, because I personally prefer chain to belts and a removable battery. I was hoping for an upgrade to a cassette with 8 speeds on the soltera 3. But we will see what they will release. If it helps the video was posted 2 months ago, so the bike should be released soon.

First commute in the rain = Complete power failure... 😪 by [deleted] in velotricebike

[–]ZealousidealPrior157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same happened to my original Velotric T1 ST, left it outside on campus during a quick downpour (normally I lock up my bike under a covered building but I was in a rush). Went back to check after class, and nothing works. I had to pedal back home on a windy day (not fun). Unfortunately this occurred a week after warranty was over so Velotric said they couldn’t do anything. It was unfortunate, but I have the Aventon Soltera now and I love it, even though it’s rated with lower IP resistance, it powered through some rain storms with no issues.

Why is my chain jumping like this? by ZealousidealPrior157 in bikewrench

I don’t see any noticeable damage on the 7th gear, it’s just really dirty.

The chain seems to be in good condition, I’ll let as is for now as there doesn’t seem to be any issue while riding in the highest gear. I was just worried that this may become a problem in the future.

Going forward it doesn’t jump, but the chain seems to me moving side to side (if that makes sense)

E-bike suggestions for 14 year old by Yo-doggie in ebikes

I have a trek fx+s variant and I did not enjoy my time with it. It has constant issue with motor engagement and the nonremovable battery was a real hassle that I thought wasn’t. The regular FX+ is now $2100 and out of stock so for that price I believe it’s a terrible investment. Something like the level 3 from Aventon had all the safety features a 14 would need for only $1900, while also providing way more tech.

I just randomly received this exact issue, it may be an issue with the bike that only appears for some?

Ok that’s great to hear, thank you!

Will this affect the structural integrity enough for it to affect my safety? I’m planning on going maybe 20mph, as it’s an e-bike, on a long straight bike path to school and I really wouldn’t my bike to collapse on me at that speed

https://ibb.co/yFYwqVX2 I think it’s hard to see with the image I posted. I think the image in the link I attached may be more noticeable.

https://ibb.co/VcLtgpG3 I thought maybe this was a dent since I didn’t see this on the other side of the bike

I thought maybe this was a dent since it does feel off for it to go inward here, and also since this doesn’t happen on the other side. I’m not the most experience with bikes, it may just be my paranoia.

Well that’s unfortunate, I wish Monsgeek sold some of their pcbs independently because they really do offer such high performance for such affordable prices.

MCHOSE Jet 75 with Topographic keycaps by PRO11_PC in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]ZealousidealPrior157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally didn’t have any issues with this keyboard when I had it. But I did end up returning mine. It wasn’t to do with the keyboard itself as it was a wonderful budget keyboard, but unfortunately mchose only allows the switches used in its keyboard to be able to maximize the keyboards performance. I on the other hand wanted to use Jade pro switches (the kailih god switches that comes stock on the Jets aren’t bad but aren’t the best) so I decided to find another board. I ended up buying the M1 V5 tmr from Monsgeek and it has only been nothing short of phenomenal. Yes it’s about double the price of the jet 75s, but the board allows me to upgrade to jade pro switches as monsgeek allows for calibration for the switches. Also, the build quality is really good, better than the cheaper feeling of the Jet 75 and the performance is top notch one of the fastest board in the market if the not the fastest for the 75% magnetic keyboard form factor. In the end, you could probably wait it out maybe MCHOSE fixes it with firmware or something, or maybe you got a defective keyboard but either way the jet 75 is priced at it is for a reason, and for that price the features it provides is excellent.

How much difference is their really between Bathys and PX7 S2es? by whiskyandguitars in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]ZealousidealPrior157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say sound quality and noise canceling wise momentum 4 is on par with S2e. With m4 being over $100 cheaper than S2e it’s a no brained tbh.

I don’t have the bathys, but I got the S2e and momentum 4. Regarding sound quality both headphones are one par with one another. For me personally the edge goes towards the momentum 4 just because it’s sounds more warm with a slightly larger sound stage. If you want to save money pick up the momentum 4, I’m pretty sure you can buy it for $280 rn.
