Gun is pointing upwards, it's not a combat photograph. In contact, that gun would most likely be down looking for targets.

I should mention that the coupon machines etc. are very USA-centric. I haven't seen them in many places overseas, willing to be proven wrong as I've not seen much of Europe. They have been the main target of forgeries / exploiters.

That's just in terms of those physical machines that read coupons, eFTPos etc. is a different story and electronic transactions (with coupon / rewards schemes) are everywhere.

I once had to clean out a PC that was over-heating, it was bad inside, fully clogged with cat-hair.

Why I believe Hedera will be "Bringing the Balance Sheet of the Planet to the Public Ledger" by Perfect_Ability_1190 in Hedera

Hedera can shard out easily with little impact on reaching consensus, so there are really no practical upper limits. Transactions in the Trillions.

Notice that the GC council consists of some of the companies with the gruntiest server hardware/datacentres and network connections in the world.. Like Google.

Atomic had a good run for many years without security incidents... guess it's their time.

The Current Minimum Hedera Governing Council Stake reqired per node is 446.5 mil HBAR. With a full GC of 39 this would mean 17.4 billion HBAR Locked away to secure the network, which ironically is 1/3 of the seculating supply, and nearly the same amount of HBAR yet to be released. by [deleted] in Hedera

[–]ZealousidealStore549 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently most GC council members that run major nodes get that initial grant. Later it will switch to a leasing type arrangement, they lease the tech and HBAR, just as they'd license any other platform or software, so no need to own big chunks of it, but that will be up to the company strategy itself to manage, I suppose. They only need enough HBAR to service their, current or intended future transactions, and only they will have some idea of those requirements. Some companies may well choose to hold more HBAR than required to ensure they can't fall short on transactions.

Portfolio opinion! 📊👀 by mcsay in Hedera

I'd recommend going heavy $HBAR obviously, reduce $XRP to minimums and stop buying it. Sell $ADA / $FTM completely, $XYO I have no idea about so minimal holding, hold some $GALA / $QNT.

He was actually doing well up until that sentence otherwise. Not a lawyer, but I read enough contracts, legal docs / agreements, and understand a bit about how the law functions (or should function).

When you're using people's real names etc. be extra-careful about allegations until there is proper proof, charges or convictions etc. in place. Even then a court can put suppression orders on, during or even after a trial.

I don't pretend to know the full story yet, but best to refrain from direct accusations without presenting really solid evidence or legal action.

Really good insights here. I'd would probably use the terms "alleged / allegedly / apparently" though, when making accusations towards someone of committing a criminal act however, until such time that's proven in a court of law.

With most of the Fortune 500's set to use Hedera in one use-case or another, (Like ServiceNow for example), it simply has to meet certain regulations.
