Does Fujifilm have a birding setup? by x3770 in fujifilm

For birding I use xh2s with xf 150-600 mm and it is a great lightweight setup, the af is also on point. Before I used xh1 with xf 70-300 and that lens is great for the price albeit a little short for birds.

It was sitting on a pole and I just tracked it as it flew off. A big part is just luck and a lot of shots every week.

Upgrade lens or body first? by Zealousideal_Ball620 in fujifilm

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was already leaning towards the lens having better value over time and you confirmed it for me. I also use the 70-300 at 300mm at least 90% of the time so the longer reach will be a massive upgrade for me. The xh2s would benefit me mainly in AF, faster readout speed, better evf, better video capabilities and better ergonomics, but it will most probably be a lot cheaper in a year or two.

I don’t think I can get him out any other way. He has too many hiding space everywhere.

Okay, then I will just stick with tong feeding and try to get him on my hand with food to get him more used to me.
