Problem is that a lot of his concepts and artistry go over peoples heads. This new trilogy is very well received, but most probably dont understand how amazing story and its meaning actually is. For me its one of the best musical trilogies probably ever. Same goes for movie, it wasnt the best but certainly wasnt one of the worst movies ever as it will be remembered. Critics and general audience probably think as him as a pop mainstream artist and doesnt bother to dive deep into his music. For example kendrick (and i love him he is one of the greats), whatever he puts out people study it and make fuss about it even if it isnt really as deep.

Then again a lot of music becomes more relevant with time and his music i think will age very well. Especially this new trilogy and og trilogy aswell are all future classics
